The OAO What's this move thread

Recommended Posts

Can someone please explain these moves to me;

Canadian Hammer

Hindu Press (Sonjay Dutt)

The Canadian Hammer is a Dominator i think.

The Hindu splash is a Phoenix Splash(moonsault 450 splash), I think.

Canadian Hammer = Inverted Powerslam (the Old Dominator)

Over the shoulder in a Canadian Rack, fall forwards, slamming them chest first into the mat. The Inverse of the Bulldog's Powerslam.

Oh, and Dusty Rhodes' Flip, Flop, 'n Fly is a combo of 4-5 left-handed snap jabs, a dance, and a right hook to the temple. Bubba Dudley used it a lot as a face.

Is there really a difference between Chris Sabin's Cradle Shock and the Ki Krusher '99?

Doesn't Sabin hook the leg though because it is related to his Future Shock Fisherman's Buster?

The only difference I realize is that he starts it with the firemans carry and then hooks the leg whereas Ki always has the leg hooked.

No. The Cradle Shock is just a Fireman's Carry Michinoku Driver II. The only similiarity it has with the Ki Krusher 99 at all is that LowKi will sometimes lift his opponent into a Rack before hitting the Krusher, and they're both variations of the Michinoku Driver II.

Chemical Imbalance: stand behind them like you're gonna hump them. Stick your hands through your knees and grab their arms. Lift them up and catch them in a Storm Cradle Piledriver. Basically an Armlock Storm Cradle Piledriver (Ric Blade's version).

Huh? Invetro Fertilization starts with Delirious lifting the opponent over his shoulder and flipping him to his side to drop them with a DDT. Kind of like AJ Styles's Starmaker or the Hurricane DDT, only Delirious flips the guy horizontally instead of vertically.

Zuh? I thought that was a Yokosuka Cutter (Canadian Backbreaker into a Diamond Cutter).

Then whats the move I'm thinking of?

He doesn't really do much in Wildside; the Gateway crew are barely down there anymore.

As for IWA, I've been to about 3/4ths of the IWA shows live this year, and I can assure you that the only time I've seen Delirious set up Invetro Fertilization, it was the over-shoulder DDT contraption.

/sidious/ RIIIIIIISSSEEEE....

oh, yea, question. What exactly is the Pepsi Twist? (CM Punk)

Punk sets them up for a backdrop suplex (makes it so that they have a headlock on him. He often adds in a hammerlock for good measure. Then, he swings 180 degrees and does a lariat with his free arm, basically killing them because it's usually really stiff.

It's a bridging double chickenwing. Danielson applies a double chickenwing, almost as if to go for a Tiger Suplex, and then forces his opponent face-down onto the mat, rolling his own body forward and planting his toes on the ground, arching his back to stretch out his opponent's arms.

Punk's Pepsi Twist sounds a whole lot like Garrison Cade's move, the Blue Thunder Bomb/Rock Bottom thing.
