Mik 0 Report post Posted November 22, 2003 Anyone seen it yet, or thinking of seeing? It is getting crucified in the reviews...something like 8% fresh at Rotten Tomatoes (5 positives...ouch!) I haven't seen it yet, but from the sound of it....well, it doesn't sound good. I mean, Mike Myers' raunchy humor may work good in movies like Austin Powers, but for a movie like Cat in the Hat? And you're right about the boy child actor, he's no good, but I love Dakota Fanning. Anybody see her on Letterman the other night? She's adorable! They toys and stuff will be a big hit even if the movie sucks because they are still associated with the book which is rather popular. Im betting the Lorax will be the next book made into a movie.
