What do you think about Test?

Test was FINALLY starting to get good recently, but the broken foot had other ideas. I thought he had a lot of potential when he first came along, but he's just this generation's Lex Luger. And now with all the Hoss madness running wild, he looks like just another big guy. I don't see much upside in Test.

Look at what he's had to work with lately.

He had Stephanie McMahon to work with before she got over-exposed. What happened there? He couldn't even act like he was hot for her. Hell, Jericho acts like he's really interested in Trish, and he's married. Steph was the thespian in that one. Steph, a better actor!

What Vicious Fish said.

I think Test's problem is that every storyline he's been in since the Stephanie thing has been so uninspired and plain boring. The UnAmericans, the 6 month long Steiner/Stacy feud and his brief run as a face when he was the European champ around Wrestlemania 17. I'm not going to say that it's the booker's fault, but at the same time it's hard to get over when you're in shitty storylines.

I liked him as the Un-American and RTC. Test needs to be in a stable, hell let him join Evolution as the tag team specialist.

I agree

personally, I think a program where he tags with Christian would be great, especially now.

They are basically the same guy, both thinks everyone lvoes them, both are pricks to everyone they meet, and both are pompous assholes.

I figure there's no sense in wasting a pissload of time building up two basically identical storylines with two other random guys and they should just have them tag.

I like Test. He may not be the greatest wrestler ever uys.

Two good matches in five years.

The people rest their case.

Test is one of them guys that if ya give him a chance with someone decent, then ya can actually get a decent match out of the guy. Eddie Guererro and Edge are CLASSIC examples of that.

The Edge match is way over rated.

And abortions with Jericho and Angle disprove your theory.

Absolutely not.

Christian is over, Test is not.

Christian's segments actually draw a decent number of people. Only Rodney Mack loses more viewers than Test on raw.

When Test was starting out, I thought he had some workrate issues--his selling was one. The other major one was that he had a great moveset, but he would use a bunch of cool looking powermoves without much rhyme or reason--quite spotty.

Basically, he seemed like the power-move version of RVD. I figured in time he'd be a good worker.

Instead, he lost most of the cool moves, and still has selling issues (although when it's for a storyline, he can sell an injury well).

He was never great on the mic either, so I'm not too excited about him.

Test was in the Right to Censor? When was this? I remember Richards, Venis, Ivory, and Bull...but never Test.

I don't mind him so much.

That's not to say I'm a fan of his, but he doesn't make me want to turn the channel like someone like Albert does. He's okay as a midcard heel.

I will say this - even though he's severely limited in what he can do, he does work better in this "asshole" gimmick (is it REALLY a gimmick?) he's got.

I love Test. He's got one of the best workrates and movesets out of all of the hosses, and his heel stuff has been pretty funny.

Anglesault is gonna bitch only 2 great matches in 2 years, but can you blame him when he's been working with guys like Steiner and A-Train for 2 years??

Personally, I think Test is just average. Normally, I would say he sucked, but before his foot injury he was improving a little.

In a world where glorified big men attempt to wrestle, Test is lost somewhere under all the hoss-hate.

Despite being around for so long, he's still as generic as, say, Lance Cade. Which is a pity, because I still like the guy.

It took Forced servatude and the prospect of beating on a woman and using her anytime he see fit to finally get some decent heeeeeel heat....for only 5 seconds

He's a fucking asshole. I hope he breaks his other foot and gets the ever loving shit kicked out of him.

Test doesn't annoy me anywhere near as much these days. The Big Boot sucks as a finisher since it's just kind of... naff, but the Testdrive rocks (I know it's a rip-off of the Last Rites/Roll Of The Dice, it's still a decent move). He's not too bad on the mic, and is one of the better big men. I have to give it up for the guy when he went out with a BROKEN FUCKING FOOT and put on a watchable Hardcore match with Suckomac - the guy who broke his damn foot in the first place.

The only problem with that was that Test with a broken foot causing Shane problems lowered Kane's heat even further ("Hey! I'm a generally ignored mysoginistic generic midcard hoss, and I can nearly beat him with a broken foot! What's your problem?")

I wished WWE could gone with the ultimate fantasy match of all time Nash vs Test vs Kane for the name and gimmick rights to the Diesil persona.

Test is a stupid boring name, he would be better off if he went by his real name Andrew.

No, the street fight with Shane at SummerSlam was great.

He's not a great worker, talker, or personality but Test fills the role of servicable midcarder who can believably sneek up on a RVD or Booker T every once in a while and not make it look like its a complete joke. He's never going to be a World Champion or anything, but he's found a niche where I'm comfortable with him.
