I am now into Season Five, which started even worse than the 4th Season did. Giles has the magic shop though, and Buffy's sis is in town. She is in the main credits, so I'm guessing she stays. It'll make a lot more sense then because it isn't a stand-alone then Season 5 is a strong season. Not up there with 2 and 3, but it is very strong and is my third favorite, just ahead of season 1. Ravenbomb 0 Report post Posted November 27, 2003 Since I didn't get to participate in the Buffy season seven thread, I'll chime in on something people were arguing about, and it's still brought up some. The Uber Vamps being hard to kill at first but then were really easy. If you'll notice, the Uber Vamp was right up under the seal when it opened and was all gray and such. When the slayers opened it in Chosen, there weren't any right there, and the ones that were in there were more flesh coloured. They started Glory off strong... then revealed she was a god... but the whole "mind-suck" thing didn't seem like that dangerous a power until she sucked Tara. Then things heated up nicely. Holden was a great character to have, Dawn's scenes in the house were terrifying, Willow's were heartbreaking and Spike absolutely shocked me. I would put it in my top five, I think. Anya 0 Report post Posted November 27, 2003 I think the difference was that Buffy didn't really know how to kill them before But Anya's not-so-shocking info was just that they can be staked, which Buffy had been doing for like years. Buffy tried to stake it before and it no sold. Then Anya says they can be staked...it's just harder, and suddenly they're jobbers. Whatever... I hate the final battle.
