That's not so much a love song as it is a fuck song.

My top ones are probably Lamb's "Gorecki" and Elliott Smith's "Say Yes," both of which are a little more forlorn than you might want out of a love song, but pretty great nonetheless. Oh, and Sam Cooke's version of "Bring It On Home To Me," which is astonishingly gorgeous.

I'm going to have to go with Wilco's "Reservations" as my top choice as I have been carrying around a raunchy hard-on for Yankee Hotel Foxtrot lately.

Thank you for recognizing 112.

This is a damn good list, btw. Make any chick moist.

I'm marking out for "Reasons", but I'd replace Fabolous with "Always & Forever" by E,W & F.

No shout out for Leann Rimes - How Do I Live?

The Trisha Yearwood version is much better. For one, Rimes was like 16 at the time and didn't really understand the emotion of the song the way an older woman would. That's the reason the producers of "Con Air" cut Rimes and hired Yearwood to do it.

Two words:

Careless Whisper.

The gratuitous saxaphone solo gets me EVERY TIME.

"I'm never gonna dance again...guilty feet have GOT no rhythm..."

Dude, I've actually got a FREESTYLE~! remake of that song. Pretty killer, if I do say so myself.

A lot of the songs listed, I have to agree with, but there are a few songs I think are definately necessary.

John Mayer - Comfortable

St. Patrick's Day

Something Corporate - Konstantine

I'm not huge into the love songs, but I really think those portray a very simple love, which is the best kind. Surprisingly enough, mainstream seemed to poke through.

You MUST send me the mp3 of that song! I'll instruct you, if needed!
