iliketurtles 0 Report post Posted December 7, 2003 Austin/Bret from Survivor Series was better than this match. That's what I'm saying...that was the MOTY AND it was arguably the feud of the year (tied with Foley/Taker, at least). This match was good, but there was no point of it to be honest. Guest Askewniverse Report post Posted December 7, 2003 Austin/HHH happened because Mero was hurt (I think) and HBK/Mankind had little to no buildup. HHH was Savio Vega's replacement.

EdwardKnoxII 0 Report post Posted December 7, 2003 - Sgt. Slaughter time as a feature character on GI Joe Hey if they had some behind the scenes stuff and talk with some of the voice actors from that time, talk about the movie, etc I think it would be a good piece. chaosrage 0 Report post Posted December 7, 2003 Fuck WWE for not mentioning Austin/Hart!!! Seriously, the Austin/Hart stuff from late 96 is GOLD. I was waiting for it too. But they'll probably run through it when they do 1997. Maybe they'll even show the wm match.
JustJoe2k5 0 Report post Posted December 7, 2003 I wouldn't mind seeing WWE release Year In Review DVDs for each year from '93 to '97. Have a two hour feature on the year, and then have an extra disc with five or six matches of the year.
Guest TheZsaszHorsemen Report post Posted December 7, 2003 Benoit next week... "You never beat me, Brock. You can't make tap, you never will make me tap. You can gloat and gloat all you want, champ, but you cannot beat me." Okay, that wasn't too great, but I'd love it if he ripped on Brock next week But Brock DID beat him. he never made him tap, but he did beat him. A TKO is a victory. Guest ligerbomb03 Report post Posted December 7, 2003 Yes, it certainly is a victory, a tainted victory after the chair shot, but Brock never made Benoit tap out. That's all I was saying
Guest TheZsaszHorsemen Report post Posted December 7, 2003 Yes, it certainly is a victory, a tainted victory after the chair shot, but Brock never made Benoit tap out. That's all I was saying Yeah, but it's only fair that Brock cheat to win, as it were because Benoit needed instant reply, a match restart, AND the Big Show's help to beat Cena who had Benoit's ass beat not once, but twice. Guest TheZsaszHorsemen Report post Posted December 7, 2003 I really don't care much for John Cena actually. Eh, but we were speaking in terms of kayfabe. And in kayfabe-land, John Cena had Benoit beat.
