treble 0 Report post Posted December 13, 2003 I don't think you could go wrong with either one. Even though I hate the Flyers, their's looks like the nicer of the 2, so I'd go with that one. Oh, and slightly off-topic since this seems like the right place to ask it, does anyone know if the Oilers have permanently changed to their alternates for their home (dark) jerseys now? Their dark sweaters (from '97 or '98 on, I guess) were always a favourite of mine, but everytime I see them play, it seems like they're wearing those Todd McFarlane designed things, which kinda suck. The old Oilers sweaters are cool, and I really hope they're not using those alternates at home anymore. I mean, look how well that turned out for the Calgary Flames. Another problem I have with the Oilers 3rds: The Houston Oilers became the Tennessee Titans. Compare the Titans logo with the Oilers alternate. Instead of a sword-looking T with flames behind it going from the top left to lower right, you have an oil drop on a gear with a path behind it going from the top left to lower right.
