The Amazing Rando Posted December 14, 2003 Report Posted December 14, 2003 too bad Jericho SCHOOLED Trish joke wise... everything Chris did tore apart anything Trish was trying to do (see: cage match joke)
Papacita Posted December 14, 2003 Report Posted December 14, 2003 The ROCKET. That sounds so weird now.
The Mandarin Posted December 14, 2003 Report Posted December 14, 2003 This wasn't too bad of a match, sadly both competitors are deceased.
Tawren Posted December 14, 2003 Report Posted December 14, 2003 This wasn't too bad of a match, sadly both competitors are deceased. When did Hall die?
The Mandarin Posted December 14, 2003 Report Posted December 14, 2003 This wasn't too bad of a match, sadly both competitors are deceased. When did Hall die? Wow, that was quick. I was joking, seeing as Hall's career is basically dead. Now Vader, he's dead.
The Mandarin Posted December 14, 2003 Report Posted December 14, 2003 Who is that on commentary? Savage and Gorilla.

Guest cpac Posted December 14, 2003 Report Posted December 14, 2003 Macho Man and Gorilla Monsoon on commentary. What is really weird about this match is that this match was basically right before Joseph Marella died. It is really weird seeing him right before his death. Rip Owen and Joey.
Papacita Posted December 14, 2003 Report Posted December 14, 2003 Who is that on commentary? Savage and Gorilla. I meant the other guy. The guy who said "How can they go that long" in reference to the 60 minute time limit.
Guest Mulatto Heat Posted December 14, 2003 Report Posted December 14, 2003 Is it just me or is the crowd noticeably deflated? They aren't reacting to much at all.
The Mandarin Posted December 14, 2003 Report Posted December 14, 2003 Macho Man and Gorilla Monsoon on commentary. What is really weird about this match is that this match was basically right before Joseph Marella died. That's Gorilla's son, right? I read about that once, and it made me really depressed. Poor Monsoon, that would be horrible.
Guest Mulatto Heat Posted December 14, 2003 Report Posted December 14, 2003 The third commentator was Art Donovan.
The Mandarin Posted December 14, 2003 Report Posted December 14, 2003 Vader's not dead either! *tears out hair* Yes, Vader is not dead, that was another wise-crack. There was a rumor a while back that Vader had died. I was joking about that, like I did with Razor. Now Joey Abs, seriously, though, he's dead.
Bruiser Chong Posted December 14, 2003 Report Posted December 14, 2003 Anyone who's seen KOTR 94 will remember what a disaster Donavon being on the commentating crew for that show was. He wasn't a real commentator and it showed. He wouldn't shutup at the start of the show, but Gorilla and Savage started ignoring him after a while, and hence, he rarely said anything by the end of the show (I only heard him say one thing during that clip, for example).
CanadianChris Posted December 14, 2003 Report Posted December 14, 2003 Who the hell is going to watch this PPV???
tpww7 Posted December 14, 2003 Author Report Posted December 14, 2003 You should change that to who will pay for the PPV..

They should have put Johnny Polo(Raven) out there for commentary instead.
Guest cpac Posted December 14, 2003 Report Posted December 14, 2003 Yes Joseph Marella was Gorillas son. I think this paperview was on fathers day in June of 1994. I believe he died in a car accident on July 4th. Supposedly he was a good baseball prospect too.

I don't know why they brought him in. He seemed respectful of the wrestlers, but he was awful. By the end, Monsoon was totally ignoring him making a partially guilt-ridden Savage acknowledge Art's nonsense. "Boy, how much does this guy weigh?!?" --- That would be a Donovanism. He must of said that line 30 times throughout the night. BTW, I saw Donovan on the opening sketch of Monday Night Football. I think it was before the Colts/Bucs game. I think they did an old school/new school thing. Still looks about the same as in 1994.
RavishingRickRudo Posted December 14, 2003 Report Posted December 14, 2003 YEAH! CHUCK LIDDELL ON CONFIDENTIAL! YEAH~!
Lord of The Curry Posted December 14, 2003 Report Posted December 14, 2003 Did him and Dean Malenko have a conversation about who is more of an Iceman?
RavishingRickRudo Posted December 14, 2003 Report Posted December 14, 2003 I DON'T KNOW. But I imagine, if Dean Malenko and Chuck Liddell ever were to have a conversation, it would definitely steer towards that subject matter.
Lord of The Curry Posted December 14, 2003 Report Posted December 14, 2003 And then Andre "Ice Cold" 3000 from Outkast would make a guest appearance?
