Wow...I guess WWE can't deliver on ANYTHING any more.

Not that I blame Mick, if I was a part of that Goddamn company, I'd take a walk too.

You know...I'm getting tired of your petty little comments

And oh, I know I know, you're sick of WWE, well I'm sick of hearing you be sick of it.

I get it, You know what I do when I'm turned off by Vince and Co?

I don't waste my fucking breath on them.

Well, you know...fuck off.

When the state of professional wrestling is COMPLETE AND UTTER BULLSHIT, and it's because of that piece of shit Vince McMahon and Hunter Hearst-Hitler, and I am completely and totally FUCKING EMBARRASSED to be a wresting fan, I think I have a right to be fucking pissed off.

-Patrick

Dude if you're embarassed to be a fan, why are you still posting here,

I apologize for my harsh tone before, it's not normally me.

I honestly think it would be to your benefit to take some time away from this product, given how much distress it causes you.

BTW I enjoyed your columns from the nWWWo days.

was this ME hyped before tickets went on sale?

No, it wasn't. That's besides the point though, I think. I'm looking at this instance in the bigger context of continual bait and switching and main event interviews and angles. There's a pretty good chance anymore that the main event of a show is not going to happen, be an abortion of a match, etc. That wasn't always the case. If you have any interest at all in seeing a satisfying segment as a paying audience member, I think you really have to think twice about going to see WWE tv shows now.

It didn't turn me off because I want to tune in and find out WHY Foley walked out.

Exactly. The booking makes perfect sense even though it pisses everyone off tonight.

I think this has something to do with how Austin was talking about his idea for a return was awesome.

I seriously hope so because everything they've done with Austin's supposedly "awesome" return angle has severely sucked. I've lost pretty much all faith in Austin's judgment of entertainment since he went back to being a face in Nov. 2001 as he's done nothing interesting since. I really hope this whole thing with Foley tonight leads to something because right now, they've certainly dug a hole for themselves.

You know what....I'd rather be in the crowd watching what happened at the end....then being in the friggin crowd like I was in MSG the day after Summerslam 2002 watching a HHH vs. Undertaker 15 minute snoozefest.

A good point, it's not as if this was like when WCW hyped Nash/Goldberg and it ended with the fingerpoke (ironically coming against the Foley title win).

I should at least spend some time away from WWE...NWA-TNA and the local indy scene works for me anyway and helps me maintain what little faith I have left in the professional wrestling industry. I go into WWE shows expecting crap, and they meet my expectatins each and every time. (This from a former "WWF lemming".)

And don't remind me about the nWWWo, if you don't mind.

Having not seen a full Raw in a LONG time (I tuned in today at 10:20) I'm not sure about the numbers.

But I am SURE that I never ever expect a good ending to any WWE match.

I was surprised with Rico.

Jericho/Kane was stupid.

Orton/Foley didn't happen.

Did I miss anything?

But everybody has short attention span so it will all be forgotten.

Wow, you're complaining about WWE being crap, and then you say you're turning to TNA to see something better. That's an oxymoron if i've ever heard one.

A slight chance of my favorites getting their due is better than no chance at all.

That's a very good way to look at it. Big ups to the indys! (For me that'd be HWA)

That's kinda mashochistic. I find myself watching the older stuff a lot. Even the crap. It's funny crap from 10 years ago isn't as bad. Must be the time factor.

And don't remind me about the nWWWo, if you don't mind.

I understand

And I know he gets a lot of flack lately, but that JR is a good announcer

Ok, move along

Lita being herself and screwing up a moonsault.

The Hoffmans winning a tag match, poor Matt Hardy in tag team action with Mark Henry.

Clinton Portis is the new WCW Heavyweight Champion.

Well, so much for any chance of stories of Shannon's descent into madness.

Oh man, the floodgates of laughter have opened for me now.

"Slymm" Sean Shannon.

HAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!!!

Gateway Championship Wrestling for me...a couple of their wrestlers have worked NWA-TNA in the past year, which would explain my bias there.

They say insanity is doing the same thing over and over expecting different results...I guess that fits, as I watch WWE over and over expecting my favorites to get their due.

That was a long time ago in a galaxy far away, as far as I'm concerned...

I don't think the outrage would have been near as great if they just put it in the middle of the fucking show.

I disagree. From a TV perspective, the Foley/Orton segment was well placed. The last image we see as fans is crucial because, theoretically, that is what we will remember when deciding whether to tune in the next week (or in two weeks, in this case). If you put that segment in the middle of the show, then that would suggest RAW goes off the air with the Christian/Jericho saga. While that angle is admittedly pretty good, I still have a greater emotional attachment to Foley, and thus want to see what happens to him first and foremost. I'd like to think the majority of the viewing audience would agree.

I hope that made some sense.

I do see the other side, but as long as they sent out some live entertainment after the cameras stopped rolling, I don't think the crowd would be all that upset.

Well, they did mention that Rico was starting a "winning streak." Though, it surprises that they are burying Heidenreich so fast. I mean, he's BIG, usually that means some sort of push. Oh well. Maybe they were in need of a hoss jobber.

Did I hear JR correctly? Did he say Heidenreich cannot wrestle during his match with Rico?
