Crowe 0 Report post Posted December 19, 2003 Well? I'm playing the role of the concerned efedder, what are you guys doing in your breaks? I intend to smoke a lot of weed, get drunk a lot, play Xbox and stay at my brother's for a couple days. Whee indeed.
janusd 0 Report post Posted December 19, 2003 Well, there's always the 'getting presents' bit. Though we're holding the family Xmas party here (for the third year in a row, fuck it ) so I'll probably be doing some socialising before hiding somewhere to play with my presents - they're mainly gonna be DVDs and games hopefully, anyway. (Y) I think they figured out the only way to get me to come to an Xmas part was to host it here.
HVilleThugg 0 Report post Posted December 19, 2003 Well, some of us are in the real world and don't get a "break", we merely get Xmas day off from work. On that day, I'll spend some time with my mom and then spend some time with my dad (they are divorced), and then I will do my usual Xmas night ritual of going to the movies with X and my other best friend. Cuban Linx 0 Report post Posted December 19, 2003 I won't be doing anything different from any other day, other than relishing the fact that Christmas has passed and i'll no longer be getting insane hours at work.
TheBostonStrangler 0 Report post Posted December 19, 2003 I head home from college tomorrow, so I'll do some stuff with my family. Christmas Eve is at my aunt's house, then I do some stuff with my family on Christmas morning at my house, and a big family gathering at our house in the evening. It'll be nice to see the family again.

There I will get presents and eat and try not to go to sleep at 7 o'clock every night since that is seemingly what happens every time I go home... cause its DULL there. Mr. S£im Citrus 0 Report post Posted December 19, 2003 And the funny thing is... I was being half-facetious before, but I was just told by my chief that we will, in fact, be working regular hours through the holiday period. And I took a friend's duty for Christmas so he could spend it with his kids. So,

chirs3 0 Report post Posted December 23, 2003 My bestest friend in the whole wide world is flying up from Baton Rouge to spend a week here. Not that there's anything to do here - aside from viewing ROTK (which we're both holding off on until the visit - it's hard, so very hard) and spending a day in Salt Lake City, there really isn't much of anything we have planned. He'll fly up and it'll be like I never moved - us sitting there, having this conversation eighty times over: "Whaddya wanna do?" "I dunno." "Me neither." *wait 10 seconds, repeat*

Ah well, Merry Christmas and all that then.
