That alone gives me free domain to make fun of alcoholism as much as I'd like. No, it really doesn't. If someone wants help with their problem, it's inconsiderate to throw it back in their face. There are some things you don't joke about, and drug abuse/dependancy is one of them.

As for the alcoholism deal, because people in your family are/were alcoholics, that gives you the right to make fun of all alcoholics or alcoholism in general? I think there are more than a few people out there who have dealt with harsh reality due to it, and I find it one of the least funny subjects out there. Sure, CWM's "Canadian Beer Binges" were always a joke topic w/ us, but the man deserves credit for trying to get things on track. He should be commended and encouraged, not put down by you. Actually I was bitching about him telling everyone who he was talking to. The fact he was talking to him doesn't bother me. I have dealt with two deaths due to alcoholism so yes I can make fun of it if I like.
