USC Wuz Robbed! 0 Report post Posted December 23, 2003 No... its really down to Benoit or Goldberg. Orton has the IC title.

Use Your Illusion 0 Report post Posted December 23, 2003 Holly's old name is very crowd friendly: "SPARK PLUG! SPARK PLUG! SPARK PLUG!" I see no reason as to why he shouldn't win the belt now. UYI
Lil' Bitch 0 Report post Posted December 23, 2003 I'm actually looking forward to HHH / Kane. Unfortunately, Kane won't win Spoiler (Highlight to Read): because of The Undertaker even though I'd like him to.
Guest Ray Report post Posted December 23, 2003 Meltzer has confirmed the following: Brock Lesnar vs. Bob holly - WWE Title Triple H vs. Kane - World Heavyweight Title If Benoit's not in a title match, it could mean he might win the Rumble .....or be stuck in a tag with the FBI. Guest wildpegasus Report post Posted December 23, 2003 (edited) Meltzer has confirmed the following: Brock Lesnar vs. Bob holly - WWE Title Triple H vs. Kane - World Heavyweight Title When did he he confirm this? I know he did before but I wondering how rescent it was since it was being reported that the Torch was just saying that the Benoit vs Lesnar match was back on for the Rumble. Orton's going to win the Rumble. The WWE likes him more than HHH, Austin and all the hosses combined together. Guest Razor Roman Report post Posted December 23, 2003 Holly's old name is very crowd friendly: "SPARK PLUG! SPARK PLUG! SPARK PLUG!" Wow.. and the Rumble is in Philly. That chant actually might have a chance of getting started in the CoreState/First Union/Wachovia/Not The Spectrum Center
Mole 0 Report post Posted December 23, 2003 I thought I read that Holly vs Lesnar was just going to be a TV feud, with no match on PPV. Where'd that go...
AndrewTS 0 Report post Posted December 23, 2003 I thought I read that Holly vs Lesnar was just going to be a TV feud, with no match on PPV. Where'd that go... I'd say "then Benoit better go to Mania as challenger" but who the hell cares at this point?
Spaceman Spiff 0 Report post Posted December 23, 2003 Meltzer has confirmed the following: Brock Lesnar vs. Bob holly - WWE Title Triple H vs. Kane - World Heavyweight Title Sooooo...... .....anybody want my Rumble tickets? Guest Ghettoman Report post Posted December 23, 2003 Yes, a PPV will surely suck before it happens simply because Meltz says so. I still think he should change his name to Shepard.....
caboose 0 Report post Posted December 23, 2003 At least this year the rumble has two very realistic possible winners (Benoit & Goldberg) as opposed to the last couple years of dead certs - Brock & Triple H. This is more like 2001's Rumble where Austin Vs. Rocky was hard to call.
AnonymousBroccoli 0 Report post Posted December 23, 2003 I thought I read that Holly vs Lesnar was just going to be a TV feud, with no match on PPV. Where'd that go... The January 6th SD! taping is in Huntsville, Alabama.
NYU 0 Report post Posted December 23, 2003 From Last Week: WWE gave Evolution all the gold at Armageddon as a way to push the babyface side of the RAW division. Giving all the belts to one heel group, in theory, gives the top faces something to rally around and go after. With Mick Foley and Steve Austin gone for now, the top faces seem to be Rob Van Dam, Shawn Michaels, Booker T, and possibly Chris Jericho. Ah, yes. Let's put Kane - the superface - into the title match. So let's see: The Raw Title Match has two heels facing each other - which typically doesn't work. And the Smackdown Title Match has a strong heel going against a face that nobody even cares about. Shit, I'm glad I didn't buy tickets to this thing.... ChrisMWaters 0 Report post Posted December 23, 2003 I don't care if most people think this Royal RUmble will suck or not. I'll enjoy it just because it's the first PPV I'm going to live. Plus, I've been to worse. I was at the Raw with Goldberg/Christian in a cage and Jericho/Nash.
The Tino Standard 0 Report post Posted December 23, 2003 Well, traditionally the Rumble has been a PPV I've ordered or at least found somewhere to watch no matter what. Last year, I invited a bunch of people over for a Rumble pool (always a favorite). This year, I was torn on whether to watch the Rumble or go the Linkin Park/POD/Hoobastank/Story of the Year show in Columbus. Thank you, WWE. You have made my decision easy. AndrewTS 0 Report post Posted December 23, 2003 Yes, a PPV will surely suck before it happens simply because Meltz says so. He didn't say it would suck, he said those two would be the title matches. I still think he should change his name to Shepard..... He's gay? I think your poor spelling botched your weak joke. Plus, I've been to worse. I was at the Raw with Goldberg/Christian in a cage and Jericho/Nash. Those weren't too bad, I think. Plus, JERICHO WON!!
ChrisMWaters 0 Report post Posted December 23, 2003 [Those weren't too bad, I think. Plus, JERICHO WON!! No, you're thinking of their later Hair vs. Hair match. This was before Nash's first PPV where he fought Trips for the title. It had a no deciscion, I believe.
Betty Houle 0 Report post Posted December 23, 2003 As much as I don't want to see Kane-HHH, it's the most logical match. I can't defend Brock-Hardcore though...
Betty Houle 0 Report post Posted December 23, 2003 This year, I was torn on whether to watch the Rumble or go the Linkin Park/POD/Hoobastank/Story of the Year show in Columbus. I'd rewatch Diesel-King Mabel before I went to THAT particular show!
slimm44 0 Report post Posted December 23, 2003 Wow Holly vs. Lesnar could be the most dissapointing PPV Title match since Big Show vs. Bossman at Armageddon a few years back
CanadianChick 0 Report post Posted December 23, 2003 Kane vs. HHH? I'm actually a bit surprised by that. I thought Kane would be the monster in the Rumble, tossing out half the guys, before getting elminated by either whoever wins, or a surprise entrant, the Undertaker. Oh well. At least the actual Rumble will be good.
Guest The Winter Of My Discontent Report post Posted December 23, 2003 Now where are the Hardcore Holly drones? His match with Lesnar added an extra amount of suck to turn even more viewers off from getting the PPV.
