I want The Critic to have commentary by Jon Lovitz. Otherwise, it's useless.

All the John Hughes teen movies should have SEs with commentary by Hughes and/or the stars.

And for cryin' out loud, tell those idiots at King of the Hill to stop with the commentaries "in character". I don't give a shit about what Peggy Hill has to say, but I'd love to hear what Kathy Najimy does.

Spy Kids...the first one, aka, the good one. The best version of the series and it has little to NO extras? Total suckage.

Doesn't "i.e." mean "for example"? I think you want "aka" there.

Oh and the first two Spy Kids movies aren't all that divergant in quality, in fact, I'd rate the second over the first in a heartbeat.

Where would you rank the third one?

And the second one was just so goddamned boring! Not because of the lack of Floop; I had known he wasn't in it that much when I started watching the movie.

The 'rival' kids were just annoying, and they went waaaaaay beyond the realm of believability. Sure, the first had it's moments, especially with all the gadgets and VR, but the second is just...ugh.

Umm what's wrong with the original Matrox dvd? That thing was packed and I don't think I've ever heard anyone before complain about it lacking features. Hell that used to be the gold standard of how to do a dvd right.

The third is by far the worst.

The second is better because they didn't care about whether it was realistic or not and just put a lot of adventure and cool effects into it. As well as having Ricardo Monteban, especially in a flying wheelchair.

Ricardo > All 3 Spy Kids movies

LA Confidential has limited extras, nothing to special.

You could count Matrix: Revisited as the 2nd disk w/ the bonus features.

I know the Kubrick movies are on DVD, but are they special editions?

And didn't they release special editions of Blade Runner several times?

I haven't seen the 3rd, but I'll agree with you.

Adventure and cool effects are fun, but there has to be some semblence of realism there.

...No comments on the Depp icons? *pout*

Ginger Snaps

I hear the Canadian DVD has commentary and stuff, but the American DVD is barebones. An independent horror film of this high caliber deserves the special edition treatment, dammit! Especially since the two sequels are coming out soon.
