BX 0 Report post Posted December 25, 2003 They don't have to ask. Almost every black rap song I've heard is about 'being from the "hood"', having some unjustice done to them, smoking something and/or doing some chick. And a lot of black comedians that I've seen always seem to do the same racial jokes over and over. Yuna, that's because comedians joke about what they know. Tim Allen (a comedian only in the bare sense of the word) did a tools and cars bit, Cosby did all that shit about children, Bill Hicks talked politics because he is God, and Chris Rock, Eddie Murphy etc. do bits talk race and life in the PJs, because that is what they know. You won't see Chris Rock doing prop-based comedy anytime soon.
AlwaysPissedOff 0 Report post Posted December 25, 2003 No. I never said I hated blacks to begin with. Disgusted and annoyed by the rap culture, yes, but not by every black person. My computer teacher is black; I think he's cool. You say this... Yet you posted THIS eariler? I fuckin' hate the black culture. Scratch that, I hate the fuckin' hate the black rap culture. I'm sure there are some nice blacks out there...I just have yet to meet one. Hypocrite. As for the whole "racist" comedians(or artists for that matter) bit, like stated before, they talk about what they know. And honestly, if you can't add something that's, y'know, RELEVANT other than, "Durrrrr... Ah hatez rapperz!!!", then kindly do us all a favor and shut up. Personally, I'm more into the pop/techno genre.
Bruiser Chong 0 Report post Posted January 1, 2004 Can you do us a favor and just ban her, Vester? I won't tell anyone. Why would I be banned? I've done nothing wrong. Except act like a racist cunt. You fuckin' ignorant, slash-loving, hermit bitch. Not liking the culture or whatever is your choice, but don't play it down like that's all it is. Mainstream rap is quite hollow but how about scratching beneath the surface on this one? Oh that's right, I forgot. You're all about whatever's "in" on the mainstream, hence your fucking fixation with Queer Eye for the Straight Guy and X2. Maybe if you had bothered to look beneath the surface, you'd see that rap isn't all about "smacking bitches" up and "offing niggas." Perhaps you'd see that not all rap is one-dimensional and that a great deal of it has a lot of meaning and is quite deep. But I guess you just decided to write it off as nothing more than dumb n*gger shit or something, I don't know, because I guess if the radio's playing it, that's all the rap there is in the world. I'm sure there are some nice blacks out there...I just have yet to meet one. Maybe if you got your fat ass out of your computer chair and went outside and looked around you'd find some of these (as you seem to think fictional) "nice black people." Idiot. Take a break from making the shitty icons and leave your damn cave and maybe you'd see that they do indeed exist. All races have their fair share of idiots, whites being no exception. So quit acting like blacks are the only race to ever have given this world morons, all races are guilty of that charge. It's just so damn annoying. We're supposed to be nice to the current blacks just because their ancestors were slaves. So what? Almost every race was at one point or another a slave another culture. No, there's no sort of rule that states that. What you should do is give every individual a chance and not just write them off as some low-class, baby-making, glock-popping nigger like you obviously have. But whatever. It's obvious you're hiding your animosity towards the black culture behind the "opinion" curtain, so it's all good. Just go back to watching your X2 DVD or finding more fan fiction on Queer Eye or whatever it is you do while you're hiding from the mean and dangerous niggers that apparently inhabit your neck of the woods. Perhaps a nice Rebel Flag icon should be on your to do list, eh? Cunt.

ant_7000 0 Report post Posted January 5, 2004 I Co-sign with Bruiser's comment. Anyway back to the subject, I got this off a rap site its a paraphase on Chuck D's take on the situation it which I agree with. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Chuck D's Terrordome This moves me to the last point answering to the EMINEM debacle. In this game ain’t nobody an angel, however in any situation the rites of passage or the trail that got you there must be of some public record. This is beyond anything personal and it could be fair to accept it as such. In the past I’ve accepted EMINEM for skating over the crutch of ‘nigga-ism’ that so many young black folks are given like dog food to fuel their bites. Niggism was EMINEM’S kryptonite and he’s smart enough to know it. Always knew it, and in his quest to make it on the mike sniffed and licked the dog food. He might’ve spit it out, but never admitted going to the bowl. Thus a trust was based, but within a whole entirely different generation of hip hop cat early to mid nineties. It’s the ‘try anything goes for profit mentality’ that pardons EMINEM in the present generation and amerikkkan time. It’s the chaotic collective powerlessness of black folk 2003 that pardons EMINEM at this time. Although, from afar, I have liked EMINEM meeting him once in ATLANTA my evaluation is reversed to many of these cats. I know better to say I like somebody based on their art, movie, TV show or record. Saying I like somebody doesn’t mean I respect them, and this is beyond their skill or how much money they’ve got. I can’t say I respect EMINEM at all, I like DRE I can’t say I’ve respected him as much. Same with SNOOP, MASTER P, LUDA, R KELLY,THE SOURCE and many others. I happen to like them more than respect them, whereas they may feel more respect than like for me or my beliefs on things. And that’s fine I guess but like and respect are two different things. Respect only comes with integrity, and that’s not necessary to exist in today’s amerikkkan cultural world. I’ve always liked RUSSELL SIMMONS but my respect has never been there really fully. You either stand up for something or fall for anything and too often he’s stood four foot on kneepads. Doesn’t mean he’s not a nice guy. So this ain’t a thing of losing respect for EMINEM because I never had much of it anyway, and I’m not into a witch hunt thing of burying him, this rather is a test for black people in amerikkka. Blackfaces have been at the gate in this climate. SIMMONS, THE SOURCE and others have endorsed this attitude like a house slave watches the field yet eats from the kitchen. Blackfaces of these Negroes endorsing ‘nigga-ism’ are responsible for having the world look at us black people in America inferior to everyone else here. Negroes like this have used culture to, in essence, sell us back into slavery. Now after drinking from the same jug of ‘selling the integrity out’ they wanna point their crooked ass fingers at a white boy they’ve tried to sell this attitude to in the first place. FOURTEEN YEARS ago white corporations stood behind the façade of figuring out was this rap thing legit across the board, but really felt uncomfortable with the black movement of it all. As a world traveling rap outfit that dealt beyond the candy level of hip hop saying things that black men/artists weren’t supposed to say we dealt head to head with an international press on worldwide issues. Now the SOURCE, primarily David Mays and Benzino, wants to be concerned when they’ve profited off the dog food factory, and RUSSELL now says EMINEM should be forgiven for his rap sins. This is the same guy who led the campaign to toss GRIFF because of it affecting his white friend’s/business alliance’s feelings. Seriously they’re all full of sh*t, and cannot be trusted worth a damn. They’ve both endorsed this atmosphere and sound crazy taking either a pro or con side. EMINEM makes the most sense because he admits he fucked up, licking the dog food in the first place. And that still shouldn’t let him off the hook, but the rest of these assholes sound like fools. On top of this, with the acceptance of black men and women into the same NIGGAS and BITCHISMS that ushered into their nodding heads ten years back on a beat, what fight do we expect from slave minded folks? R KELLY is still king thus black women can’t even begin to address this because the BLACKman has shrunken either into a Negro slave, a nigger with no cause, or a rebel with a lobotomy. So OPRAH, ESSENCE and SISTER TO SISTER are only as strong as the man aside, and it’s flaccid as fuk.
