NYU 0 Report post Posted January 6, 2004 Hell-In-A-Cell between Shawn Michaels and the Undertaker. It had me on the edge of my seat for nearly 30 minutes, and has to be the best cage type match I've ever seen.
Tim Cooke 0 Report post Posted January 6, 2004 The best match from a working and storyline point of view is Wargames 1992. The best singles match I have seen in a cage? Haven't really seen one that is really awesome. Tim

Guest Report post Posted January 7, 2004 A really good one would definitely have to be Foley/HHH in Hell in A Cell at No Way Out 2000. No one has talked about that yet.
Dangerous A 0 Report post Posted January 7, 2004 WarGames 1992 Next up to me is Magnum/Tully. Bret/Owen is a very good match, but I didn't feel the hatred that a cage match warrants like I did with the Wargames 92 or Mag/Tully matches. Those cage matches were textbook in how to convey pure hatred for your opponent AND blow off a heated feud.
Use Your Illusion 0 Report post Posted January 7, 2004 Magnum/Tully. Sure the wrestling sucked dick, but JESUS, find me another match with that much emotion and I'll give you a badge. UYI disclaimer: offer only available to son of God.

The Mandarin 0 Report post Posted January 23, 2004 While it's not the best, I was very entertained by The Rock vs. Mankind vs. Ken Shamrock from Breakdown: IYH of 1998. 'Twas a lot better than the main event.
Guest atari_junkie Report post Posted January 29, 2004 I had/have an unusual obsession with the Jericho/X-Pac Cage match from No Mercy '00. Also, Blanchard/Magnum was awesome.

Lil' Bitch 0 Report post Posted February 25, 2004 I also have to add in the Bowery Death match from Slamboree 98 (DDP vs. Raven). That was just such a kickass match to me. Plus I love the originality of using a steel cage with the roof covered with the Last Man Standing rule applied.

The Metal Maniac 0 Report post Posted February 29, 2004 Bret/Owen is a very good match, but I didn't feel the hatred that a cage match warrants I dunno man...Owen trying to bite Bret's finger's off did it for me. Personally, I say Undertaker vs HBK, HitC.
Guest Choken One Report post Posted February 29, 2004 Attacking Bret right in front of the family...locking them out all out for a beatdown isn't "Hatred"... The very fact they even HAD a cage match was a sign of hatred.
