EVIL~! alkeiper Posted January 12, 2004 Report Posted January 12, 2004 As a Cowboys' fan and certified Eagle-hater, I gotta say: how in the fuck did the Packers manage to allow the Eagles to pick up that 4th-and-26???? It blows my mind... Go Panthers! We're trying to figure that out too. Hell, I'M trying to figure that out.
the pinjockey Posted January 12, 2004 Report Posted January 12, 2004 That catch made up for Freddie Mitchell coming to the game in a fucking Troy Aikman jersey against Dallas a few weeks ago.
BX Posted January 12, 2004 Report Posted January 12, 2004 That catch made up for Freddie Mitchell coming to the game in a fucking Troy Aikman jersey against Dallas a few weeks ago. What? He did? As a lifelong Dallas Cowboys fan, I don't know whether to be pissed about the blatant slap in the face, or be glad for the tribute. Help me.
the pinjockey Posted January 12, 2004 Report Posted January 12, 2004 Well, it was a UCLA Aikman jersey, but the point still stands.
Guest DustyFinish Posted January 12, 2004 Report Posted January 12, 2004 As someone who lives in Philly, and NOT an Eagles fan, I am one pissed off person in a town celebration. May they choke next time.
The Ghost of bps21 Posted January 12, 2004 Report Posted January 12, 2004 I guess I'll predict a Patriots/Panthers Super Bowl. Patriots don't lose at home...and the Eagles don't win NFC Championship games.
HarleyQuinn Posted January 12, 2004 Report Posted January 12, 2004 I think the Panthers D is really good and with the emergence of Steve Smith I think the Panthers could get a surprisingly easy win assuming that Stephen Davis is healthy too.
Kahran Ramsus Posted January 12, 2004 Report Posted January 12, 2004 I agree with bps21, Panthers/Pats it is.
BX Posted January 12, 2004 Report Posted January 12, 2004 I'm calling a Panthers/Indy Super Bowl. I think Indy will walk into Foxboro and just whip the ever-loving shit out of Brady and company. And eh, throwback jersey.
Guest Mosaicv2 Posted January 12, 2004 Report Posted January 12, 2004 the Eagles don't win NFC Championship games. like the Browns
Kurt Angle Mark Posted January 12, 2004 Report Posted January 12, 2004 I just noticed that if the Colts and Panthers win The Colts would get a shot at getting revenge on the three teams they lost to at home (Denver, New England, Carolina)
Damaramu Posted January 12, 2004 Report Posted January 12, 2004 I'm hoping Indy bitchslaps NE. God I hate NE.....
razazteca Posted January 12, 2004 Report Posted January 12, 2004 Well Manning is on a 5 TD a game average. I can see 41-17 as the AFC final score.
KingPK Posted January 12, 2004 Report Posted January 12, 2004 Well...Manning is going to play a team that will A) Show up to play (unlike Denver) and B) Actually has a defense (unlike KC) so his offensive production may be a WEE hampered.
Guest Flyboy Posted January 12, 2004 Report Posted January 12, 2004 Well...Manning is going to play a team that will A) Show up to play (unlike Denver) and B) Actually has a defense (unlike KC) so his offensive production may be a WEE hampered. Remember that time NE thought they had Indy beat in at halftime in their first meeting this season? Whoo, boy.
Guest Flyboy Posted January 12, 2004 Report Posted January 12, 2004 I'm calling a Panthers/Indy Super Bowl. Looks like B-X agree on something. Finally.
Slayer Posted January 12, 2004 Report Posted January 12, 2004 This just in: Gary Anderson retiring... again

Slayer Posted January 12, 2004 Report Posted January 12, 2004 Also, who/what is that in Flyboy's avatar?
BorneAgain Posted January 12, 2004 Report Posted January 12, 2004 Also, who/what is that in Flyboy's avatar? Fiona Apple if I'm not mistaken.

And how will he fare in NE, in the cold, against a dominant home D, and possibly in the snow? There's the rub.
HarleyQuinn Posted January 12, 2004 Report Posted January 12, 2004 Is everybody forgetting that the only reason the Colts lost was because they got stopped on a goal line stand after being down by only 4 points? I don't expect either team to be walking over the other with any ease and figure it'll go down to A)Who's defense steps up and B)Which kicker can hit the important FG's

Spaceman Spiff Posted January 12, 2004 Report Posted January 12, 2004 As someone who lives in Philly, and NOT an Eagles fan, I am one pissed off person in a town celebration. May they choke next time. That makes 2 of us. Anybody else notice Pinkston didn't get 2 feet in bounds on his long pass down the sideline? He bobbled it for a few steps, and when he finally had it under control, the toes of his 2nd foot came down out of bounds (a good couple inches). When seeing the replay, my father (an Eagles fan) agreed. I'm surprised none of the announcers saw it.
Guest The Winter Of My Discontent Posted January 12, 2004 Report Posted January 12, 2004 Don't sleep on the Eagles. Donavon F. McNabb showed some serious signs of life at times. Rushing for 100 yeards in impressive. I'd like to see either the Panthers or Eagles move on, so I don't necessarily have a favorite, but my gut - which contradicts my brain and stats - says the Eagles are going on to the Super Bowl. I have no question in my mind that the Colts are going to defeat the Pats.
LooseCannon25 Posted January 12, 2004 Report Posted January 12, 2004 Excuse me.................I staked the first claim to a Carolina vs. New England SuperBowl....i want my due credit damnit.
Spicy McHaggis Posted January 12, 2004 Report Posted January 12, 2004 I have no question in my mind that the Colts are going to defeat the Pats. Definitely. Peyton Manning is in a ZONE, plain and simple. That 3rd and long TD pass to Wayne in the third was sick. He made the Chiefs look silly.
