iliketurtles Posted February 2, 2004 Report Posted February 2, 2004 Man, I haven't gotten this feeling since freakin 2 years ago. This is so weird.
Cuban Linx Posted February 2, 2004 Report Posted February 2, 2004 *summons the spirit of Scott Norwood* Come on, send it wide-right...
iliketurtles Posted February 2, 2004 Report Posted February 2, 2004 HOLY FUCKING SHIT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Guest Smues Posted February 2, 2004 Report Posted February 2, 2004 FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK
Red Baron Posted February 2, 2004 Report Posted February 2, 2004 well the kicker for carolina will get blamed for this IMO
Lightning Flik Posted February 2, 2004 Report Posted February 2, 2004 And that is it. It is over. Unless Delhomme can make magic happen with 4 seconds left.
Cuban Linx Posted February 2, 2004 Report Posted February 2, 2004 Lets see 'He Hate Me' run one back for a TD...
Red Baron Posted February 2, 2004 Report Posted February 2, 2004 and again, thanks to the referee's, the NFL, like the NHL is a farce
Shanghai Kid Posted February 2, 2004 Report Posted February 2, 2004 If the dumb kicker hadn't botched the kickoff...we would be going to OT.
LaParkaMarka Posted February 2, 2004 Report Posted February 2, 2004 Bah. Well, excellent game, congrats to Randy Orton and the Pats.
iliketurtles Posted February 2, 2004 Report Posted February 2, 2004 LOL...QVC is already selling Patriots merchindise.
sfaJack Posted February 2, 2004 Report Posted February 2, 2004 If the dumb kicker hadn't botched the kickoff...we would be going to OT. Or, if Carolina had nutted up on the Pats' final drive instead of sitting back in that pussy-ass zone, we'd be going to OT as well. Oh, well. Hell of a Super Bowl. I'll gladly admit that I was wrong about it being a boring game. Whew. Now, let's get ready for spring training.
Guest FrigidSoul Posted February 2, 2004 Report Posted February 2, 2004 Don't worry Banky, the Pats will lose sometime next season. And people saying the officiating gave the Pats a win...go look at the penalties, they're even ya dumb shits.
Lightning Flik Posted February 2, 2004 Report Posted February 2, 2004 So who gets the MVP? Delhomme or Smith for Carolina. Givens for Patriots. Since it goes to the winning team, it'll be Givens.
2GOLD Posted February 2, 2004 Report Posted February 2, 2004 Greatest Super Bowl ever. Yeah, I said it.
Damaramu Posted February 2, 2004 Report Posted February 2, 2004 YES! MY CURSE IS BROKEN! I ACTUALLY PICKED A WINNER!!!!
HarleyQuinn Posted February 2, 2004 Report Posted February 2, 2004 OH MY GOD OH MY GOD OH MY GOD!!! What an ending, GO PATRIOTS~!
2GOLD Posted February 2, 2004 Report Posted February 2, 2004 Don't worry Banky, the Pats will lose sometime next season. And people saying the officiating gave the Pats a win...go look at the penalties, they're even ya dumb shits. Quit trying to pull the damn penatly and refs card. The Pats got screwed out of a touchdown once. It was a great Super Bowl and the Carolina Panthers are AMAZING. Just flat out AMAZING. Delhomme is officially a star in the NFL. Tom Brady is now a superstar. And Adam is officially a GOD. Brady will be MVP.

Or, if Carolina had nutted up on the Pats' final drive instead of sitting back in that pussy-ass zone, we'd be going to OT as well. Or if Fox hadn't went for two early on. Whoops. The Panthers can only blame themselves. Delhomme really had an excellent game though. Same with Smith and Muhammad. Smith sure showed everyone this year, eh?
Nevermortal Posted February 2, 2004 Report Posted February 2, 2004 I think the Carolina kicker will end up like Ray Finkel in Ace Ventura: Pet Detective

A Happy Medium Posted February 2, 2004 Report Posted February 2, 2004 Eh, good game, but I've come to the collection on one thing. I hate Tom Brady. I just hate his face with a passion. It just says, "hit me."
LaParkaMarka Posted February 2, 2004 Report Posted February 2, 2004 And Adam is officially a GOD. Adam is not a god. He makes the 31 yarder, which should be automatic, and the game doesn't have to come down to a last-second field goal. I'd rather have a guy like Vanderjagt or Elam over Vinatieri. Really great kickoff on the last play though, right on the 1.

Really great kickoff on the last play though, right on the 1. Bet he's a god to Patriot fans. And right now if you say with 8 seconds left in a Super Bowl that you would take Elam over Adam, well ok I can accept that because they are amazing kickers. I don't care, that was the greatest game I have ever seen in my life. AND THE GAMEDAY STREAK IS OVER
Red Baron Posted February 2, 2004 Report Posted February 2, 2004 Please there was some non calls on New England that should have been called, and there are some penelty's on Carolina that shouldn't have been called. But the major penelty calls was called right.
HarleyQuinn Posted February 2, 2004 Report Posted February 2, 2004 I'd take Adam anyday just for the fact that he's clutch. Whether he misses early or not, when it comes down to the final play I'd have him kicking everytime.
sfaJack Posted February 2, 2004 Report Posted February 2, 2004 Greatest Super Bowl ever. Yeah, I said it. Nah. The first quarter and a half had too much ugly football to make it the greatest Super Bowl of all-time. It's definitely in the Top 5, though. And I can't help but wonder if Mike Martz, in an effort to avenge their loss two years ago, possessed John Fox's body for a couple of brief moments and had the Panthers go for two twice. That's the only possible explanation for those bits of idiocy.
