Especially the first one. You're supposed to dance during Fred Astaire songs - not stand there with the same cheesy smile on your face. It's become very clear that George has used up all his talent, and I would be ecstatic to see him go tomorrow. But I don't think it will wind up that way. Ripper Posted May 5, 2004 Report Posted May 5, 2004 Latoya's, though I did like, sounded pretty off in alot of the parts. It wasn't really that great honestly. I hated Fantasias first song, but the second one was great. Diana...i didn't particularly care for either, but the first one was kinda just there..i just plain didn't like the second one. George - I liked "what a wonderful world"...scratch that..I loved it. I hated the other. Jasmine sounded bad on both of them to me honestly. Not horrible, but not good either. Who should be eliminated = Jasimine. Who will probably be eliminated = Fantasia...I just get this feeling. And I am starting to think that the love for Fantasia is split on the genre of music people perfer. Jazz, R&B, Gospel fans all seem to LOVE her voice and think she is the best. Those that aren't really fans of that genre are the ones that seem to think she has a annoying "bad" voice. I personally think she is hands down the best in the competition, although i can see why people would pick Latoya.

"Crazy Little Thing Called Love" as a big band song made me think that it could work well in a marching band. I don't think that's what Idol was striving for. Jasmine, at this point, is in the same position as John Stevens - she's young, and she's gonna get better, but it's not gonna happen in this kind of competition. Anyways, the last two weeks have not been kind to the contestants. I think it's safe to say that neither Latin or big band music will be in the winner's album...

I hate listening to him talk. Whenever you know that someone didn't do a good job, you can predict what he's going to say, "Yo, dawg, 'sup? Yeah, you know, man, (shakes head slightly) I just wasn't feeling it". I'm yet to see him offer actual constructive advice to any of the contestants. Paula is seriously worthless. I mean, what purpose does she serve? Is there a demand for an 85-year-old woman to sit there and tell everyone that they did great, even if they were horrible? I'm sick of seeing her cry, sob, and generally act like she's borderline retarded for most of the show. Simon is the only judge that I'd think about keeping around, but the man needs to learn to keep it in his pants. Also, they could really do without the live studio audience booing everything he has to say. Considering that he's the only judge that's honest with them, you'd think that the contestants would like him. But instead, they all think it's hot shit to argue with Simon. Christ, this show pisses me off.

I can't even listen half of the time. I think it's clear that Latoya is the best. This is pretty slim pickins though talent wise.
