Today was a diverse day.

Les Savy Fav's Inches, and N.W.A.'s Efil4zaggin, commonly known as Niggaz4life. This is the remaster with the excellent 100 Miles and Runnin' EP appended to it.

Anyway, I picked up two today:

The Roots-Do You Want Moore?!!!??!

Local H-Here Comes the Zoo

Great pick-ups. Do You Want More?!!!??! is probably my third favourite Roots album behind Things Fall Apart and the masterful illadelph halflife.

Here Comes the Zoo is HANDS DOWN the best Local H album, and one of my favourite rock albums of all-time. "(Baby Wants To) Tame Me" and "What Would You Have Me Do?" are both brilliant and very Zeppelin-esque. The entire album is nearly flawless, if you ask me.

There's really no point during my day that I don't have music playing. Also, I like doing shit like burning myself Air/Mastodon mixes, so what doesn't get my full attention will get put on something intentionally abrasive I make for a party.

I should post what I download in one day. It can get ridiculous.

That album is fuckign great. I love the monologues in between songs, especially the bit about Nusrat Fati Ali Kahn.

Of course. A small handful of awful lyrics aside, this is very good. Much more arresting than All That You Can't Leave Behind's adult-contemporary fixation. If you don't like U2, obviously don't bother, but any fan should be super-satisfied.

Agents of Oblivion - S/T

I've only listened to a couple songs off of it. Pretty damn good. I liked Acid Bath so I gave them a shot.

Goatwhore - Funeral Dirge for the Rotting Sun

Makes me want to mutilate Christians...I guess they completed their mission. Good shizzle.
