B. Brian Brunzell 0 Report post Posted January 28, 2004 Right now, I can't really think of a similar artist to Everlast. I'd compare him to a guy like Dylan, but then Bob would show up at my house and beat my ass. Not to mention every music fan here at TSM.
Guest BrokenWings Report post Posted January 28, 2004 Staind or the accostic version of the limbizkit song from Gothika. staind = whitey ford....how? I'm pretty sure he was recommending a band similar to Everlast, as that first guy suggested.
Guest cobainwasmurdered Report post Posted January 28, 2004 He's not bad but he's definetly no Dylan. Songs by Everlast I like includ "The Ends", "Black Jesus" and "What it's like" he's got a new song on the radio that is very meh-ish

I wouldn't beat your ass for that, mainly because I've heard maybe have a dozen of Dylan's songs, and I can hardly remember any of them. I enjoyed the first Whitey album. Insane Bump Machine 0 Report post Posted January 29, 2004 I loved the blues songs on his first album, but hated the rap tracks. The second album is 100% blues/rock songs and I love it. Favorite tracks are What It's Like and Black Coffee.
mw679 0 Report post Posted January 30, 2004 I like Everlast, Whitey Ford was a great album. He's kinda hard to put into a category because of the nature of his albums, he has seemed to get away from the rap aspect and gone more bluesy/rock. But, if you like the bluesy/rock stuff, I'd suggest Kenny Wayne Shepherd and Joe Bonamassa. Check 'em out.... www.kwsband.com www.jbonamassa.com
