Paul London to get an actual feud?

Sources have told 1Wrestling.com the Smackdown creative team has discussed a storyline for Kidman and Paul London that appears to have started with their match last night against the Basham Brothers.

The plan that has been discussed is to continue to team Kidman and London for several weeks while building to a possible breakup between the two that would be related to both men using the "Shooting Star Press" as their signature move.

I'd rather they get built up as a credible face team, since SD is bereft of them, rather than build them up for a couple weeks only to immediately feud them.

I say keep them a team and have their finisher be stereo SSPs on both opponents.

 

Ideally, since London's is better, Kidman should BK-Bomb their opponent as a set-up to London Calling.

I would turn Haas and Benjamin face post haste myself. I really think they have the personality to pull that sort of thing off based on that four way they had a few weeks ago with Gurrerros, II Cool II, and The Bashams as well as the stuff they were doing in the battle royal on Smackdown.

Paul London on TV at all is a good start, while Kidman isn't the greatest a feud/teaming of London & Kidman should be better than most of the crap the WWE puts out.

Its a good idea IMO. Once the fans see London's SSP, they will immediately turn on Kidman's and the fans will lose all interest in him since thats the only reason his even slightly over with the fans.

I kind of like how Kidman does it. It seems "tighter"...I don't really know how to phrase it. London, of course, has a great SSP, better than Kidmans in height and speed and distance; but that doesn't mean Kidmans sucks.

Kidman has one problem. He's too vanilla. He rarely talks and when he does, let's just say Jeff Hardy sounds like a Harvard Graduate. Other than that I don't find anything wrong with him as he's not in any way offensive in the ring-uh.

He's a decent to good worker. Is he bland? Sure, but you could say that about at least a quarter of the entire roster.

Aren't Stereo SSP's a little... impossible? (Not to mention dangerous) Like, how do they both fit on the top rope? And where do they land? You can't do a SSP and land on someone's head or legs, it needs to be the stomach to cushion the impact.
