There was a Monday Night Raw where I thought Batista killed Shawn Michaels because he whipped him up so fast for the sit-out Powerbomb that he lost his grip while falling with him and Michaels landed on the back of his neck and just didn't move. Incidently that's the last time I remember seeing Capn' Fuck-up use the sit-out powerbomb...from there it was just a regular lift and drop the man version.

But now he's paired up with Flair and not really doing a thing at all.......I mean I know he has the tag team titles, but they don't do much with those.

And why would you want Batista to get that push? You know when Benoit is going to put on consistently better matches and entertain the crowd more? There is no logic behind that at all....

First of all, Benoit was never in any danger of hurting anything other than his shoulder on this landing. I know that can be serious, but let's not pretend his spinal cord was about to unfray. Second of all, I love Benoit to death, but he botched the move, not Batista. Benoit attempted to spin around and turn the powerbomb attempt into a crossface, which didn't work. It ended up as more of a crucifix armbar. Batista even lifted up Benoit once again by that one arm, so Benoit could give it another shot, but both men wisely decided to cut their losses and do a short arm clothesline reversal instead. On the first one, he attempted to roll over the top of the powerbomb into a sunset flip, and he slipped and fell on his melon. I can't exactly remember what happened in the other spot, but I remember watching the replay and remarking that RVD was to blame.
