JN News Posted February 3, 2004 Report Posted February 3, 2004 I had my TV set on mute during HHH's long-winded promo before squashing Spike Dudley. But, I heard the announcers say that HHH said something about Brock. If he did, what did he say?
Guest JRE Posted February 3, 2004 Report Posted February 3, 2004 He said he's the only champion that matters (about himself, of course). And Coach kept sticking up for Brock Lesnar. It's almost like their hinting at the return of the Undisputed Title
JN News Posted February 3, 2004 Author Report Posted February 3, 2004 Oh God, that cannot be good news at all for Lesnar if indeed Vince decides to put him in a world title unification match with HHH.
RavishingRickRudo Posted February 3, 2004 Report Posted February 3, 2004 It's like ink-blots with some people and the undisputed title. "HHH was eating at Wendys the other day; he had the grilled chicken sandwich, plain, and a garden salad with a bottle of spring water" - 1Conserver.com So, does anyone else get the vibe that they're setting up a title unification match? - Someguy.

[ducks flaming garbage]

Yeah, those whacky people who think Vince favours family over others... whyever do they think that? I think that because they gave Lesnar the real WWF title while sticking Triple H with the fake World Title, instead of the other way around. Also because Brock is Vince's "pet project" and he probably feels like hes created him all by himself.
RavishingRickRudo Posted February 3, 2004 Report Posted February 3, 2004 .. and HHH is Vince's son-in-law. Game. Set. Match. HHH. HHH has also punked Lesnar out on many occasion without Lesnar retaliating at all. Lesnar is getting HHH's sloppy seconds in Bill Goldberg. To be honest, the only reason HHH probably doesn't have the "real" title around his waist is because he was already knee deep in a feud with HBK at the time Brock won the gold. Also, with the Big Gold Belt Trips gets to play Nature Boy.
Bored Posted February 3, 2004 Report Posted February 3, 2004 Hell I kept predicting on this board last year that they'd have HHH/Lesnar unification bout at SummerSlam. So what if I'm going to be eight months off? Actually part of what I took from that promo was that maybe they are going to eventually make the Big Gold Belt the #1 belt in the company. The fact that they are going to have the belt defended in the main event leads me to think it might happen. A scary thought to say the least. Maybe they'll just end up pretending the Big Gold Belt is the belt with all the lineage all along.
Slayer Posted February 3, 2004 Report Posted February 3, 2004 "HHH was eating at Wendys the other day; he had the grilled chicken sandwich, plain, and a garden salad with a bottle of spring water... ...which he then spit into the air"
haVoc Posted February 3, 2004 Report Posted February 3, 2004 Triple H has every right to say what he did about Lesnar. Brock has been calling himself the greatest world champion and Triple H should have an issue with that. Until those two start name dropping each other I wouldn't get too excited about the undisputed title returning.

humongous2002 Posted February 3, 2004 Report Posted February 3, 2004 HHHerpes said the same thing last year about Angle while he was cutting a promo on Goldberg after Summerslam, nothing came out of it, it's just Trips putting himself over while burying a possible threat to his "throne".
Guest Repo Man Reborn Posted February 3, 2004 Report Posted February 3, 2004 "I'm better than Brock. NAH NIH NAH NIH NAH NAH!" (Summary)
2GOLD Posted February 3, 2004 Report Posted February 3, 2004 Triple H was making a claim he could eat more than Brock Lesnar in three weeks time. Apparently he has had a head start. God damn, the crowd looked stunned. It was like seeing old Elvis with a big ass wart on his forehead.
eirejmcmahon Posted February 3, 2004 Report Posted February 3, 2004 See, I don't have a problem with HHH ragging on Lesnar BUT Brock should return the favour on Smackdown.

He actually has more credibility than most internet "sources"!!!!!!
Guest Repo Man Reborn Posted February 3, 2004 Report Posted February 3, 2004 I hope Brock totally ignores Triple H. Who cares what he says? Unless Brock comes out and says he nailed Stephanie in the can. Now that would be funny.
Guest Ghettoman Posted February 3, 2004 Report Posted February 3, 2004 The only word I can come up with to describe that last night was disgusting. Kills Brock, compares himself to Flair, and then squashes spike fn dudley. I mean did someone walk up to him before the show and say "So tell us exactly what you'd like to do...."?

Also because Brock is Vince's "pet project" and he probably feels like hes created him all by himself. yeah well I would say Paul Heyman created Brock Lesnar and molded his character into what it is today a lot more then Vince did. As far as HHH mouthing off, he seems to do this after just about every ppv win he gets. I think he feels insecure or something. There will be no unification stuff because if there was, Brock would be told to respond. Smackdown RARELY ever responds to what guys on Raw say.
Enigma Posted February 3, 2004 Report Posted February 3, 2004 He didn't directly insult Lesnar, he just said he was the best Champion. It was more reasonable than his "Smackdown and their paper champion (Kurt Angle)" promo.
Guest Goodear Posted February 3, 2004 Report Posted February 3, 2004 Yeah well I would say Paul Heyman created Brock Lesnar and molded his character into what it is today a lot more then Vince did. Huh? What do you base that on other than Heyman being his manager for the guy when Brock was at his least entertaining point? All the Borck goodness came after Heyman was no longer his manager and no longer at the head of Smackdown creative. Why don't you just give Jim Cornette the credit for Brock since he helped train the guy in OVW.
JN News Posted February 3, 2004 Author Report Posted February 3, 2004 HHH had absolutely no right at all whatsoever to call Angle a "paper champion". It just goes to prove to everyone that HHH absolutely hates his employees. And I say employees, because I don't think the other wrestlers are his co-workers, anymore. I don't he has any respect for the guys in the lockerroom that bust their asses every single day moreso than him, despite what he says.
Vyce Posted February 4, 2004 Report Posted February 4, 2004 The only word I can come up with to describe that last night was disgusting. Kills Brock, compares himself to Flair, and then squashes spike fn dudley. Well that HHH, he has to show the boys in the back how things are done, bah gawd.

RavishingRickRudo Posted February 4, 2004 Report Posted February 4, 2004 Sure, cept it hasn't been just once. After Summerslam both Taker and HHH "marked their territory" with Lesnar. HHH called the Smackdown champion a "paper champion". He's made reference on MANY occasions of being the "top" guy in the industry completely trying to undermine the position of the actual champion.
