Guest Krazy Karter Posted February 8, 2004 Report Posted February 8, 2004 http://www.a-2-zentertainment.com/news.html Layzie is almost done recording his rock record. He’s using a lot of live instruments on the album, which is a change of style. Layzie did a remake of the song Welcome to the Jungle (By Guns & Roses). Layzie’s version is Welcome 2 My Jungle and the song is about St. Clair. This isn't confirmed, but Layzie may perform @ this years' WWE Wrestlemania in Madison Square Garden. He will be performing Welcome 2 My Jungle with feat. Guest Guns & Roses. This is not confirmed yet. Well, if this is true I'll be marking out like a little bitch. :: high-fives BPS ::
1234-5678 Posted February 8, 2004 Report Posted February 8, 2004 Please God no. I wouldn't mind if they were there, but with a guy from Bone? Performing a rap version of Welcome To The Jungle? Please no, Axl. Tell me you are smarter then that.
Guest FrigidSoul Posted February 8, 2004 Report Posted February 8, 2004 Axl hasn't performed at his own concerts since like 93, what makes people think he'll perform at somebody else's?
The Ghost of bps21 Posted February 8, 2004 Report Posted February 8, 2004 Axl wouldn't even have to be there. He doesn't play instruments in the band. This would work better with Velvet Revolver minus Scott Weilend who'll probably be in jail anyway.
Guest JMA Posted February 8, 2004 Report Posted February 8, 2004 This is good news for Rob Conway (he's a big Guns 'N' Roses fan reportedly).
Jobber of the Week Posted February 8, 2004 Report Posted February 8, 2004 Please God no. I wouldn't mind if they were there, but with a guy from Bone? Performing a rap version of Welcome To The Jungle? Please no, Axl. Tell me you are smarter then that. Ditto.
MrRant Posted February 8, 2004 Report Posted February 8, 2004 If this happens.... I may have to run amuck.

2GOLD Posted February 8, 2004 Report Posted February 8, 2004 Wait, wait, WAIT Guns N Roses is alive and still together??? Really???
Guest Krazy Karter Posted February 9, 2004 Report Posted February 9, 2004 Well if it's like what Bone did with "Take Me Home" by Phil Collins, it won't be that bad. Imagine this: Axl sings the intro, basic rhythm is played by the band while Layzie raps over it, Axl sings "In the jungle...welcome to the jungle!" at the normal spots for the chorus. I'll take it.

I'd take it just cause I'd probably mark out over and defend whatever GNR did.
Use Your Illusion Posted February 9, 2004 Report Posted February 9, 2004 What's this 'high fives bps' shit? If the boy was a REAL GNR fan, he'd incorporate it into his username.
The Ghost of bps21 Posted February 9, 2004 Report Posted February 9, 2004 um...the p stands for...paradise city... ...and stuff
snuffbox Posted February 9, 2004 Report Posted February 9, 2004 this would almost be as bad as metallica with ja rule. embarrasing, but not quite as bad.

The Ghost of bps21 Posted February 9, 2004 Report Posted February 9, 2004 I'm not changing my name just to appease you guys. I've got hours and hours of illegally downloaded GNR material as my merit badge.
Guest Krazy Karter Posted February 9, 2004 Report Posted February 9, 2004 I've got hours and hours of illegally downloaded GNR material as my merit badge. Every available recording of "The Blues", no doubt. :: high-fives BPS ::

What about a music video to accompany "The Blues"? Or soundboard recordings? I have some of them if you want em.
razazteca Posted February 9, 2004 Report Posted February 9, 2004 Why has Wrestlemania become a parody of the movie Body Slam?
Guest Choken One Posted February 9, 2004 Report Posted February 9, 2004 This IS bullshit. Get someone fucking relevant. It's NEW YORK CITY. The Mecca of Hip-Hop. Your biggest star today is known for his rap "gimmick", You're biggest market is the urban community...So yeah bring in a old washed up has been rocker from the 80's who WILL NOT EVEN SHOW UP!
Guest JumpinJackFlash Posted February 9, 2004 Report Posted February 9, 2004 Or....this rapper starts singing Welcome to the Jungle. He is then interrupted by John Cena, who introduces the real deal. That would be awesome....I believe.
Guest Choken One Posted February 9, 2004 Report Posted February 9, 2004 Why would Cena give a fuck about some washed up singer?
2GOLD Posted February 9, 2004 Report Posted February 9, 2004 Why would Cena give a fuck about some washed up singer? cause he's Old school? That's the best I could think of.

Tons of people hate hip-hop like me so I don't think that's a good idea for everyone watching.
razazteca Posted February 9, 2004 Report Posted February 9, 2004 Why would Cena give a fuck about some washed up singer? The Dave Chappelle Show explains all.

I don't really care wether it's a stupid idea or not. The WWE has ruint Wrestlemani for me and apparantly a lot of others as this folder has been dead lately. Offbeat shenanigans aren't going to save it either.
EdwardKnoxII Posted February 9, 2004 Report Posted February 9, 2004 Why has Wrestlemania become a parody of the movie Body Slam? Hey that wouldn't be such a bad thing cause that would mean the return of your friend and mine: Dirk Benedict. He could be the guest ref in the main event.
