Brett Favre Posted February 12, 2004 Report Posted February 12, 2004 yeah. A couple of jobs here and here by Edge would do some good for him. HHH: You-uh, reek-uh, because-uh you need-uh, the rub-ah.
NYU Posted February 12, 2004 Report Posted February 12, 2004 But even if this was true, I'd like to see how it plays out. Because I believe Trips actually likes Edge, judging from some of the interviews I've read. Edge is homegrown too. I'd say he would have a pretty good chance at having a decent feud with HHH. That could be wishful thinking, though. Well, all hope is not lost. If Triple H is feeling generous, Edge could wind up pinning HHH in a tag-team match. Then, of course, meeting the Pedigree later when the match actually counts.
Si82 Posted February 12, 2004 Report Posted February 12, 2004 Good God. It seems the Triple H's ego is totally out of control. I mean first he wants Benoit over from Smackdown in order to crush him and make him look stupid and now he wants to do the same to Edge. Not only that but's he planning it before he's even back so he can destory any hope of Edge ever getting over.
Lil' Bitch Posted February 12, 2004 Report Posted February 12, 2004 Triple H has been giving every indication that he's not planning to be involved with Benoit after WrestleMania 20. Okay, that's good. Instead, Triple H has been pushing for Edge to move to Raw so that the two can have a program together after Edge returns from neck surgery which should be soon after WMXX. I said before and I'll say it again. Edge NEEDS to stay on SD. The show is in the pits as it is and is lacking star power.
JN News Posted February 12, 2004 Report Posted February 12, 2004 I'm also calling bullshit on this one. Since WHEN has the Torch been accurate? Plus, for those of you who don't like Edge, Edge has paid his dues in the WWE. He deserves much better than this shit.
Guest Repo Man Reborn Posted February 12, 2004 Report Posted February 12, 2004 At least Triple H is practicing the art of long-term booking. The WWE writers could learn from him.
Austin3164life Posted February 12, 2004 Report Posted February 12, 2004 I can see it now JR- "GOD GAWD ALMIGHTY, FOLKS, THE GAME TRIPLE H AGAINST THE RISING STAR EDGE HERE IN TORONTO, IN THE AIR CANADA CENTER! TRIPLE H, THAT BASTARD, IS BLOODY AND BATTERED, AND IT'S EDGE'S TIME TO CLIMB UP THE MOUNTAIN!! COME ON, EDGE! YOU CAN DO IT! WAITAMINUTE, TRIPLE H HAS GOT THAT SLEDGEHAMMER, WHAT A SONOFA BITCH! EDGE IS OUT AND TRIPLE H MAKES THE PINFALL HERE IN EDGE'S BACKYARD! EVERYONE IS HOPPIN' MAD, KING~!" Lawler- "....the match hasn't even happened yet, JR......." It's almost as if they already know what's bound to happen.
haVoc Posted February 12, 2004 Report Posted February 12, 2004 I have a little faith in Triple H. I don't think he'll bury Benoit or Edge. Doesn't he get along with both of them? Hell, Edge and I think Benoit were at his wedding.
Guest Dynamite Kido Posted February 12, 2004 Report Posted February 12, 2004 I actually don't mind Edge, but nonetheless I really don't wanna see a program with him vs. HHH. But Vince loves what I don't want to see.........ALL THE TIME.

Words cannot express how fucking depressing that is, but the fact that it has a higher possibility of happening then Hunter putting over Edge just makes it all the more sickening...

Hell, Edge and I think Benoit were at his wedding. Weren't workers ordered to be there or something? Or was that his Stag/Bachelor party? Or am I just plain wrong?
haVoc Posted February 12, 2004 Report Posted February 12, 2004 That was the bachelor party. Only select people (wrestlers) from the roster were at the wedding.
Si82 Posted February 12, 2004 Report Posted February 12, 2004 That was the bachelor party. Only select people (wrestlers) from the roster were at the wedding. Thanks dude! Still, it's kinda sad when your father-in-law has to order the guys who work for him to go to your batchelor party.
humongous2002 Posted February 12, 2004 Report Posted February 12, 2004 Meanwhile Smackdown is stuck w/o any star power, they better start trading some wrestlers b/c SD main event scene looks very thin.
haVoc Posted February 12, 2004 Report Posted February 12, 2004 Every year after WM there should be some type of draft/trade between the two brands.
Damaramu Posted February 12, 2004 Report Posted February 12, 2004 Edge......I enjoyed your career while it lasted. Seriously though..........SD! is fucked. They have what now? Eddie, Cena, Brock, and Angle. Raw has: HHH, HBK, Jericho, Benoit, Booker T, RVD, Kane, Goldberg, Austin But I guess SD is getting UT back......so that balances it out.....not really though.
humongous2002 Posted February 12, 2004 Report Posted February 12, 2004 Isn't UT on RAW now since he is feuding with Kane.
Guest Besus Posted February 12, 2004 Report Posted February 12, 2004 Isn't UT on RAW now since he is feuding with Kane. Taker isn't feuding with Kane and he hasn't been on Raw since 2002.
haVoc Posted February 12, 2004 Report Posted February 12, 2004 Isn't UT on RAW now since he is feuding with Kane. Taker isn't feuding with Kane and he hasn't been on Raw since 2002. Taker/Kane isn't a feud?

Taker/Kane isn't a feud? Kane/Taker is feuding because Undertaker animations shows up everyweek on the titantron? My answer is no.
Art Sandusky Posted February 12, 2004 Report Posted February 12, 2004 ... you're serious? Should we say that it's a Kane/Screwy Titantron feud then?
Guest Besus Posted February 12, 2004 Report Posted February 12, 2004 ... you're serious? Should we say that it's a Kane/Screwy Titantron feud then? No. Kane isn't in a feud.
Art Sandusky Posted February 12, 2004 Report Posted February 12, 2004 So what do you call it? A program? Storyline? I'm really curious.
Guest Your Olympic Hero Posted February 12, 2004 Report Posted February 12, 2004 If HHH loses the title at Wrestlemania, he's not gonna lose another feud right after it.
Guest Your Olympic Hero Posted February 12, 2004 Report Posted February 12, 2004 So what do you call it? A program? Storyline? I'm really curious. It's not a feud. It's not gonna be Kane vs. Titantron at Wrestlemania. It's an angle leading to the return of the darkside Undertaker and Kane will feud with him.
AlwaysPissedOff Posted February 12, 2004 Report Posted February 12, 2004 Whaaaaaaa? A program and a feud are practically the same thing...
Austin3164life Posted February 12, 2004 Report Posted February 12, 2004 Well Raw will lose Goldberg so it'll be Triple H, Shawn, Benoit, Jericho, Kane, Austin, and RVD. Smackdown has Brock, Cena, Eddy, Angle, Edge, and presumably Undertaker (assuming he goes back to the Smackdown brand). Yeah, it's pretty imbalanced. Smackdown has turned into the armpit of the WWE.
Guest Besus Posted February 12, 2004 Report Posted February 12, 2004 Whaaaaaaa? A program and a feud are practically the same thing... I don't think they are,you do. Edit:(Some members wanted me to explain) Feud-2 or more wrestlers that battle and/or argue over something. Program-Something that shows up on electronics. <-That's what I consider this Kane/titantron. It could mean feud too because program does have more than 1 definition.I call it a program because of the titantron.
NoCalMike Posted February 12, 2004 Report Posted February 12, 2004 Ahhh I see, Edge comes back from an injury and undeservingly gets thrust right into the main event scene, and really only so Triple H can rub out another young talent before he even gets an oppurtunity to shine.
