Youth N Asia Posted August 29, 2004 Report Posted August 29, 2004 Fight Club 9 out of 10 I like it a lot better now than I did when I first saw it a few years ago.
Mrnoitaull Posted August 30, 2004 Report Posted August 30, 2004 LXG -9 of 10 I liekd it....really I dont see why it flopped
Youth N Asia Posted September 1, 2004 Report Posted September 1, 2004 The Girl Next Door 7 out of 10 While not near as funny as I was expecting, I thought the story flowed great for the kind of movie it was.
Mole Posted September 2, 2004 Report Posted September 2, 2004 50 First Dates - B- That was a romantic comedy I actually enjoyed since it was a tad bit different than all of the others. But it was still formulatic, so I didn't like it wasn't perfect. My Pops is going to kill me though. I have ordered WAY too many movies with OnDemand this month
Youth N Asia Posted September 2, 2004 Report Posted September 2, 2004 Napoleon Dynamite I'm not even going to give it a score really. But I hated this movie. And I just have the feeling that the fans of the movie are going to use the "It's too smart of a comedy to be understood by all" argument for defense when someone slams it. The movie had a few very funny moments, but there were way too few and way WAY too far in between. Least I got in for $3.50 instead of full price. Girl said she'd just let me in if I bought a hotdog, cause it was the last one and they didn't like throwing them away. So I got in for $3.50...and my bro payed $8.25.
ArkhamGlobe Posted September 2, 2004 Report Posted September 2, 2004 I got to watch a 35mm print of Taxi Driver yesterday. 'Twas awesome finally getting to see it on the big screen.

Mrnoitaull Posted September 2, 2004 Report Posted September 2, 2004 "Half Past Dead" which was pretty much my condition after watching this movie ZING!!
Guest Joshua A. Norton Posted September 4, 2004 Report Posted September 4, 2004 Shaun of the Dead - 9/10
BlackFlagg Posted September 5, 2004 Report Posted September 5, 2004 Die Hard With A Vengeance - 8.5/10
BlackFlagg Posted September 6, 2004 Report Posted September 6, 2004 The Transporter - 6.5/10 Dirty Rotten Scoundrels - 7.5/10 The Color of Money - 8/10

ArkhamGlobe Posted September 8, 2004 Report Posted September 8, 2004 My copy of Jan Svankmajer's Alice finally arrived and it was bloody marvellous. Highest possible rating.
Youth N Asia Posted September 8, 2004 Report Posted September 8, 2004 Collateral 8.5 out of 10 Great movie. Tom Cruise and Jamie Foxx couldn't have played their parts any better. The pace is great. But the only part that nagged me a little is that #5 was so obvious.
muzz Posted September 8, 2004 Report Posted September 8, 2004 As Good as it Gets - 9.5/10 "Carol the Waitress, Simon the Fag." "You make me want to be a better man." The Pianist - 9/10
DCMaximo Posted September 8, 2004 Report Posted September 8, 2004 Learning to enjoy unemployment... The Independent- 9/10. Great Jerry Stiller/Janeane Garofalo film that I picked up on a whim for £3. Funny as hell mockumentary on b-movies, the footage of "Teenie Weenie Bikini Beach" made it worth £3 alone Texas Chainsaw Massacre: The Next Generation- 5.5/10. Carried by Renee Zellweger and Matthew McConaghey, both of whom are so good that you almost forget about the fact that the plot makes no fucking sense
Youth N Asia Posted September 8, 2004 Report Posted September 8, 2004 Texas Chainsaw Massacre: The Next Generation- 5.5/10 That's far and away the best score I've ever seen anyone give it. That movie was balls
