Guest The Ohtani of Time Report post Posted February 29, 2004 My Sister is staying with me and my girlfriend, and since she has moved in they have not stopped watching shows like Trading Spaces, While you were out, Clean Sweep, Monster House and the list goes on. Are these the only shows that cable TV will air now. The shows themselves aren't bad, but does there have to be so many of them.
MrRant 0 Report post Posted February 29, 2004 Too many... gotta get that money while the going is good. Monster House is pretty cool though.
razazteca 0 Report post Posted February 29, 2004 You should get revenge and watch nothing but SPIKE TV and Discovery Channel's programming of nothing but auto repair shows. The women must sit there and suffer while you watch Paulie yell at Paul Sr or the rap dj guy talk about the dubs with his homies.

Guest OctoberBlood Report post Posted February 29, 2004 No. Why? Because they don't interfear with what I'm watching. I like While You Were Gone every once in awhile. But like I said, it' doesn't get in the way of what I usually watch.
Vyce 0 Report post Posted February 29, 2004 I think you mean "While You Were Out", which WAS sort of good, but host Theresa Strauss left and now some dude has taken over. If I'm going to watch a show about home redecorating, I'd at least like to see a cute girl hosting, rather than be reminded at how gay the show is by having a total sausage host it. "Monster House" is a pretty good show, especially when the builders act like bitches and Steve has to put them in line. Oh, and "American Chopper" OWNS. I could watch that (and some of the other shows - like "Great Biker Build-Off" - go Billy Lane!) all day long.

What's funny about that is that Evan Farmer (the new While You Were Out host) played the "lead" guy in MTV's movie a few years ago spoofing boy bands (I can't remember what it was called, though). Every time I watch While You Were Out now, I still see him singing "The Hardest Part of Breaking Up (Is Getting Back Your Stuff)."
KanadianKrusty 0 Report post Posted February 29, 2004 I can't stand While You were Out and shows like that, American Chopper is really good though, but What Not to Wear > all the shows mentionned above anyways.
kkktookmybabyaway 0 Report post Posted February 29, 2004 They don't bother me, but then again I don't watch them. Hey, there have to be shows for chicks and gay guys, too...
Highland 0 Report post Posted February 29, 2004 American Chopper and Monster Garage are two of my favourites, I like Monster House too, but I just can't get into it as much as the other two.
Guest El Satanico Report post Posted February 29, 2004 Not at all...I like interior design and home renovation shows. Monster House is alright, but alot of their rooms are too tacky. And I'm not gay or a women, so fuck y'all I also like those car shows on SpikeTV and Discovery.
starvenger 0 Report post Posted March 1, 2004 Like Most Extreme Challenge, cooking shows (well, Rachel Ray, Alton Brown and Jamie Oliver anyways. Top 5 needs to go away) and poker, home renovation shows are good TV if there's really nothing to watch or you're on the phone and need something playing in the background. That being said, I only enjoy Trading Spaces, While You Were Out and In a Fix. Stuff like Clean Sweep I really don't like because the homeowners aren't really involved in the renovation of the room(s).
