RavishingRickRudo 0 Report post Posted March 10, 2004 Putting smarkism a side for a second, you all know it's bullshit that Hogan/Andre didn't make it. That is the match that made the WWF. Can't have Hogan in 4 matches on the card; that might remind people he was important
razazteca 0 Report post Posted March 10, 2004 The ladder match is incredibly high given that the No Mercy 99 ladder match made it completely obsolete. LOL @ "the first" ladder match. That wasn't even your first ladder match Shawn let alone thee first. 1st on PPV?
Guest Choken One Report post Posted March 10, 2004 WTF? That's a oddball inclusion...

Guest Askewniverse Report post Posted March 10, 2004 Does this mean that Bret-Owen gets bumped for a spot-fest?
Karc 0 Report post Posted March 10, 2004 Triangle Ladder Match? WTF? TLC 2 topped this. NO way this is number 2.

Guest Choken One Report post Posted March 10, 2004 The even chose the WRONG fucking match! WMX7...NOT WM2000!
Guest Anglesault Report post Posted March 10, 2004 TLC 2 was better than this.

DMann2003 0 Report post Posted March 10, 2004 Bah, TLC II was better than this one. But TLC I was the best...well, maybe TLC III (the 4-way from Smackdown) was the best.
Guest Choken One Report post Posted March 10, 2004 Guess they felt compelled to remind us that EDGE still exists.
Karc 0 Report post Posted March 10, 2004 Does this mean that Bret-Owen gets bumped for a spot-fest? They only had to mention Bret once to appease us, and they did that, so yes. Now I'm thinking that Hogan-Andre might be number 1, which this kind of oddball thinking.
Guest Anglesault Report post Posted March 10, 2004 I turned it on at Bret/Austin. What was 10-7?
The Amazing Rando 0 Report post Posted March 10, 2004 "Tables and Ladders And Broken Bodies Along The Way!" is another line I love.
DMann2003 0 Report post Posted March 10, 2004 The even chose the WRONG fucking match! WMX7...NOT WM2000! I guess it's cause Rock/Austin is 1, and they didn't want the top two spots from the same event.
Guest Choken One Report post Posted March 10, 2004 this wasn't even a TLC match damn it! Why didn't they choose the more famous match? Easy... To show Jeffery Hardy's Infamous swanton
RavishingRickRudo 0 Report post Posted March 10, 2004 Unlike the TLC matches, they didn't bump for the sake of bumping, in the TLC matches it's just loosely connected spot. stop. spot. This one just felt continuiously flowing, the ladder was used as a weapon, not a launching pad (save for two spots)...It just felt more natural. That's maybe because it was 1 on 1. There were still a ton of "high spots" in it and not a whole lot of content. They were just a lot more limited than the #2 picks and couldn't do it all . MarvinisaLunatic 0 Report post Posted March 10, 2004 I like how in this they only edited out the F part of the WWF logo. Why couldn't they just do that to start with instead of blurring the whole logo out.
Kahran Ramsus 0 Report post Posted March 10, 2004 I actually liked this one better than the interference-laden TLC 2, but it shouldn't be anywhere near this high.
The Metal Maniac 0 Report post Posted March 10, 2004 It's like 90% high spots; they're just not gasp-worthy high spots. I beg to differ; that one punch that Razor hits HBK with as he comes off the ropes and stops HBK dead in his tracks gets a "Jesus!" from me every time.
