Terri was the first to get it the night after Rumble 2000. I'd say the spree stopped after KOTR 2000 when they put Tori through a table (separating her shoulder in the process), but they'd do it every now and then...to Lita, to Molly, and Stacy was the last women to get put through a table...well, unless you count the beating they put on Trish last year as a part of the Bischoff administration. Back then, the only you got a World Title Match on free TV was Saturday Night's Main Event and possibly if a local cable channel had the rights to broadcast the local house shows. Plus as long as the belt is the main focus for guys that are on TV every week, you really don't have to worry about its image being hurt any. I didn't like it either, but it was the best match on the PPV, IMO. It was in Montreal so Benoit won it with Haas taking the loss much to crowd pleasement.
