As someone who has lost three cats being run over I find such a comment downright disgraceful and offensive. I wasn't going to bring it up, because you're likely to be a dick about it, but that's one of the most disgusting things I've ever read on this board.

If you don't understand people's love for their pets, then fine. But to say that if the opportunity arose you wouldn't go out of your way not to kill something which people love just because you can't be bothered or whatever, that's downright sickening.

Sometimes, people on message boards make me cry, too.

Any animal that disregards an oncoming vehicle deserves to become part of the road. Perhaps they're suicidal from being smothered by your oppressive love. I'd run out in front of a bus if someone fed me out of the same bag day after day, then cuddled and mollycoddled me, constantly petting, brushing, and stroking, and saying nice things, and confiding all your secrets and shit, all the while wanting to slice your throat with my claws, but never doing so because you had them yanked out that time you took me to the vet and cut my balls off.

Fuck obsessive pet owners. Any pet of mine is running willy-nilly about the property free and easy, and sleeping in a nice warm garage with a bowl of water and food, and a few ear scratchings and thrown tennis balls. Then they eat grass until they puke. That's life.

KKK, I've already established that you're a fucking nutjob. Quit queering up my thread, hussy.

Sorry, skip. I've established that I'm a nutjob long ago.

No offense, but if you let your pets go outside then you better be ready to face the possibility of them getting killed.

And if it makes you feel any better, I do the same thing 'trane does whenever children run out onto the road.

There is something wrong with that. Do pets talk? I have a cat but loving it like a child is going too far.

So...basically you hate people that can't talk...is that what you're saying

you ~PEOPLE WHO CAN'T SPEAK-IST!!

Ban Plz.

Well I'll be honest:

If I've just washed my car and don't want a mess - I'll swerve or let them cross the road.

Not if it endangers me or my vehicle. My truck > any cat. Me > any ferret.

No way I'm swerving on some shitty road for someone's stupid dog. Before you ask, I feel the same way about my pets.

I mean christ, maybe they could get out the way if you weren't doing 115 in a 5mph zone.

Some fucking kids broke into my house this morning and stole all my weed and smokes!

I had half a fucking pound that I helped grow stolen!

the dog is dead.

He doesn't deserve death, he deserves torture.

I am torturing him.

He's outside in the cold rain until I can think of something worse (that doesn't take lots of effort or make a huge mess)

That's fucked up. Not all dogs are territorial and vicious. Obviously, our burglars knew what they were looking for (and probably had some idea where to look), so perhaps you should be more judicious in who you talk to.

Tom I'm kidding about punishing him. I wouldn't do that. honest.

He's got Agnes chained up outside. No one thinks that's cruel or unusual.

That's different. Agnes pays good money for that.

Regarding your dog, poke him with a stick, and watch his bollocks grow.

No thanks AoO, I'd rather just not feed him.

*obviously a joke for you pet lovers*
