Guest Salacious Crumb Posted March 25, 2004 Report Posted March 25, 2004 If this match does happen at a PPV and gets a bad buyrate I wonder who will get the blame. Hmmmm. Damn that RVD!!!!
OldSchoolWrestling Posted March 25, 2004 Report Posted March 25, 2004 Are you no-selling Moolah's 27 year title reign? You know HHH is jealous.
Guest Man Of 1,004 Modes Posted March 25, 2004 Report Posted March 25, 2004 If this match does happen at a PPV and gets a bad buyrate I wonder who will get the blame. Hmmmm. Damn that Rob Van Dam! His opening match vs. Orlando Jordan didn't draw dick! Time to push him down to Velocity jobber vs. Orlando Jordan and.....Orlando Jordan. And that masked Japanese dude too!
NYU Posted March 25, 2004 Report Posted March 25, 2004 I think this falls apart massively and never comes off. I'm glad there's so much time before the PPV. Well, there are two roads this match could go. 1. The buildup for the match fails, and they decide to quickly blowoff the storyline on TV before scrambling to build something else. (i.e. The HHH/Bubba Ray Dudley feud scheduled for a title match at No Mercy 2002. Scratched for HHH/Kane.) 2. WWE ignores the opinion of the fans, and do their absolute best to push the match onto PPV despite the lack of interest it's receiving (i.e. Lesnar/Holly at Royal Rumble 2004 or HHH/Steiner at No Way Out 2003) I actually wouldn't be surprised if they put Eddie/Bradshaw at Judgment Day. They seem to be in the process of rewarding guys that have been in the company for a long time, and this would only continue the tradition. Plus, there's always the possibility that the title match will go in the middle of the card, and they'll save something like Taker/Angle for the Main Event. It's amazing that they have so many different matches they could go with for Judgment Day that are bound to be, at least, a little more successful. Eddie/Booker, Eddie/RVD, Eddie/Cena, Eddie/Taker, Eddie/Angle (if Angle's healthy enough for it)......even if Big Show decided to stay and they tried pushing Eddie/Show. But Eddie/Bradshaw has absolutely no upside, and I really don't see where they're going with this.
Guest I Got Banned for Sucking Posted March 25, 2004 Report Posted March 25, 2004 Eddy Guerrero VS Bradshaw, huh? You'd all be wishing you could take your words back if this was Bradshaw's last match before WWE gives him an "extended holiday."
King Cucaracha Posted March 25, 2004 Report Posted March 25, 2004 despite the lack of interest it's receiving Why would they cancel a match for recieving 'lack of interest', when they haven't even shown the build-up on T.V? This is all just instant reaction feuled from speculation. For all you know, this new character development for Bradshaw could be a blast.
Guest I Got Banned for Sucking Posted March 25, 2004 Report Posted March 25, 2004 Could Eddy carry the match? Sure, he can carry The Big Show to a halfway-decent match, but that's because Show can hardly move, so it's no competition. As I said, while it's not constitutional, if Bradshaw is leaving after Judgment Day, after a SmackDown! Pay-Per-View, then one title shot is fine by me.
Jobber of the Week Posted March 25, 2004 Report Posted March 25, 2004 I think the new Bradshaw character could be entertaining giving mic time. I never cared for him backing the office, calling internet users twerps, or his constant need to spout out Republican views in every wwe.com column, but if he can entertain me on TV, all is forgiven. And this "successful Texas businessman" gig could be entertaining if played right.

Hey, perhaps later, I'll discover that my piss has magically changed into liquid gold. It's possible!! Then again, we both know neither will happen. I don't think Bradshaw will ever receive enough crowd attention to SUPPORT a Heavyweight Title push. He never has before. Optimism is one thing. Blindness is another.
EdwardKnoxII Posted March 25, 2004 Report Posted March 25, 2004 Knowing Bradshaw the feud will be that all American, Texas tough Bradshaw is trying to bring the title back to the USA from that damn dirty Mexican Eddie.

You'd all be wishing you could take your words back if this was Bradshaw's last match before WWE gives him an "extended holiday." Who would? .....I know you can't be talking about me. I'd be thrilled if WWE fired Bradshaw, and they gave a title shot to someone that was much more deserving. WWE already fired the more talented member of the APA.
Guest Man Of 1,004 Modes Posted March 25, 2004 Report Posted March 25, 2004 WWE already fired the more talented member of the APA. It's a close race (no pun intended) but Ron Simmons was more talented in his prime. But now, they both sucked equally.

Guest TheZsaszHorsemen Posted March 26, 2004 Report Posted March 26, 2004 Anyone watching this weeks SD! knows that the MONEY match for JD is Eddy/Booker.
Slickster Posted March 26, 2004 Report Posted March 26, 2004 Well, his gimmick actually looks good to me. If he can keep his smarmy heel schtick going it'll get over even more and JD's ME might be better than we expect right now.

SamoaRowe Posted March 26, 2004 Report Posted March 26, 2004 This cannot be true! That would not draw for shit unless Bradshaw becomes MEGA over in the next two months. What the fuck.
Guest Mulatto Heat Posted March 26, 2004 Report Posted March 26, 2004 It'll become Just Another Gimmick within a month anyway, but have your fun.... for now. Yes, I am that biased.
iamsherm Posted March 26, 2004 Report Posted March 26, 2004 Come on guys. Even the WWE knows that a match like Eddie/Bradshaw will not sell. I'm sure they'll spice it up a bit: Eddie vs. Bradshaw WWE Title Special Guest Referee ... Faarooq

Unless this turns out to be a work, like all smarks seem to think everything is these days (Smackdown being uninformed of reset, Lesnar leaving).
Lil' Bitch Posted March 26, 2004 Report Posted March 26, 2004 What an appropriately named event. According to this coming weeks edition of the Observer, the main event of Judgment Day will be Eddy defending the title against Bradshaw. YOU GOTTA BE FUCKING KIDDING ME?!! If the WWE actually goes through this, FUCK THEM! I'm not attending this fucking PPV.

Guest Mulatto Heat Posted March 26, 2004 Report Posted March 26, 2004 Ppppffffttt. This Bradshaw cheerleading is really amusing. It's like what happened with Sean O'Haire last year.
