Guys are pretty much screwed in cases such as that unless there is a witness. It's easier to just let them burn out the anger or leave. It's the only safe bet the guy has.

 

And some guys won't do the slight tap slap to chill someone, they would go for the all out super slap. It's just a dangerous spot to be in and I pray I am never in it. I've been slapped once very very hard and I just walked away.

And what if it happens?

 

I can speak from personal experience here where I'd come home from work and she'd IMMEDIATELY scream at me about something that happened to her (including once over a dream she had that I was cheating) and just haul off and nail me in the head and then immediately go for a kick to the balls.

 

This was before I even had a chance to remove my work clothes and change into something else.

 

Keep in mind, I had been at work for 8 hours prior to this, so her beefs were not with anything I did as I couldn't have actually DONE anything.

 

I never hit her back. Not once. I took it.

 

Yet, if I ever did retaliate --- WHO would have been the bad guy? Why should I be expected to be the punching bag?

 

Honestly, if a woman wants to punch a man, at this point, I feel she had best prepare herself for the consequences of her action and he should have full right to retaliate.

 

If you can't HANDLE what your actions will lead to, then you shouldn't do them.
