That's the ladder match right?

No, it's the match 3 weeks before, even better than the ladder match imo.

TNA match. Never saw that one, heard it was good.

Anyways, I'm not continuing with my match reviews, OSW fed, or weekly match ratings for now because my computer only allows me to log on to TSM to view about one page, before the image files stop loading and I have to type in the address all over again, and do the same thing. This happens all the time, and then finally, one day, I'm able to log in. And then a week later, it goes off again.

Luckily, today, it's stopped for a while. So anyway, it's really cool to see your match reviews. Even though I can't respond, I can read them, and they're great. Keep it up.

Well, I'm bored as FUCK today, so how about I restart this shit.

The Match: Low Ki vs. Jerry Lynn vs. AJ Styles for the NWA-TNA X-Division Title

The Event: NWA-TNA on PPV (8-7-02)

The Stipulations: AJ’s X-Division Title is on the line in this three-way match.

Low Ki and Jerry Lynn to start, both men lock up, but quickly turn and punch AJ Styles. They both launch AJ high into the air and back down to the mat. All three men trade blows. Ki with a hard chop to Lynn. Low Ki off the ropes, but right into a beautiful tilt-a-whirl backbreaker from Lynn. Lynn pounds away on Low Ki, but Ki counters an irish whip with a dropkick to Lynn's knees. Ki with some roundhouse kicks but Lynn catches Ki’s leg and Styles dropkicks Low Ki. Lynn with a lariat to Styles and a snapmare, before pounding away on him with some punches. AJ fights back and powerslams Lynn before returning the punches. Lynn reverses a german suplex from Styles and tries one of his own. Ki runs at both of them and they give him a double backdrop while Lynn has Styles in a waistlock. Lynn picks Styles up and locks him in a spinning Gori Guerrero Special. Low Ki dropkicks Lynn causing him to drop Styles.

Low Ki throws Lynn into the corner and then gives AJ a mongolian chop. Ki slams Styles and delivers the power drive elbow for a two count. Ki elbows Styles and gives him another mongolian chop. Styles whiffs on a dropkick but catches Ki with the kip-up ‘rana. Styles picks Ki up in a reverse fireman’s carry and then flips him into a jawbreaker over the knee. Styles with some chops to Ki and a spinning kick. Lynn nails Styles from behind and tries a german suplex but Styles pulls the ref in front of him and nails Jerry with a low kick. Styles with a swinging neckbreaker on Lynn. AJ in control now. He tries a hurricanrana on Lynn, but it’s reversed into a swank inverted powerbomb! Pin, but Ki makes the save with a dropkick to Lynn's head.

Ki and Lynn square off and Ki gets the better of him with his stiff kicks. Low Ki charges Lynn but Jerry dumps him to the apron, only to be met with a sick roundhouse to the head from Low Ki from the apron. Ki tries to come back in but is met with a Lynn legdrop. Styles misses his spinning clothesline. Jerry tries to roll up Styles, but Ki flips over both of them and rolls up Lynn as Lynn german suplexes Styles for a double nearfall. Fucking awesome. Ki with another Mongolian chop to Lynn. Chopfest between Ki and Lynn, which Low Ki wins, but AJ pulls him neck-first across the middle rope. Styles pounds Ki but can’t get a german. Styles tries for a back suplex instead, but Ki counters with a rollup into the Dragon Clutch! Cool spot. Lynn tries to break it up with a kick, but Low Ki blocks and locks Jerry in the Dragon Clutch! Lynn escapes and kills Low Ki dead with a DDT! Cover, but Low Ki kicks out! Styles with chops and kicks to Lynn. Styles with an irish whip to Lynn into the corner, and he hits the Tiger Mask backflip kick off Lynn’s chest, but Jerry catches him with a kick. Lynn crotches AJ up top and brings him off with a sweet DDT. Lynn covers for a nearfall. Low Ki with a snap suplex to Lynn for another nearfall.

Ki and Styles now get into a chopfest. Styles with some elbows and a roundhouse to Low Ki. Ki chops back and hits a butterfly suplex on Styles for two as Lynn breaks up the pin. Styles with another roundhouse kick to Lynn. Lynn blocks another kick from Styles, flips Styles backwards by his leg, and Styles lands right into a reverse DDT on Ki. Shit that was cool. AJ covers Ki but Lynn breaks it up again. Lynn covers Ki for another nearfall. Lynn sets Ki up top but Ki fights off a superplex. Styles nails Low Ki on the top rope with a punch but Ki nails him with a mongolian chop. Styles nails Ki and gives him a superplex as Lynn jumps up and sunset flip powerbombs Styles!! Holy shit that ruled.

Lynn with a nearfall on AJ, and then one on Ki. Lynn with another nearfall on Styles with la magistral but Ki rolls up Styles right out of Lynn's grip for a near fall. Styles reverses the rollup for a nearfall on Ki. Lynn tries a backslide on Ki for a nearfall but Styles sunset flips Lynn out of the backslide for a near fall. Nice. Ki with a superkick to Lynn and a rollup for a nearfall but Lynn kicks out, sending Ki towards Styles. Styles tries the Styles Clash on Ki but Lynn breaks it up. All three men trade blows and Styles tries his quebrada into reverse DDT on BOTH men, but they catch him and slam him hard into the corner. Ki locks Styles in the Hanging Dragon upside down in the corner but Lynn breaks it up with a dropkick to both of their heads. Ki with an irish whip to Lynn into the corner but the blind charge hits boot. Ki counters a tornado DDT, by dumping Lynn on the apron and locking him in a Dragon Clutch in the ropes. Lynn elbows out, but Styles nails Ki with a slingshot quebrada while Ki was still in the ropes for a nearfall. Awesome.

Styles moves out of the way as Lynn slingshots in with a splash on Ki. Cover, but Styles breaks it up. Styles picks Lynn up for a suplex and falls into a neckbreaker for a nearfall. Ki kicks the shit out of Styles but AJ fights out of the Ki Krusher. Ki blocks a hurricanrana from AJ and gives Styles his own finisher, the Styles Clash, for another nearfall. Lynn kicks Low Ki and gives him his own Ki Krusher for another great nearfall. Lynn kicks AJ but Styles counters the Cradle Piledriver with an atomic drop. Styles then plants Lynn with his own Cradle Piledriver for yet another heated nearfall. Ki misses the Tidal Krush in the corner and nails the ref. Lynn and Styles back body drop a charging Low Ki out of the ring. Lynn misses a lariat and AJ rolls out of the ring. Styles rolls back into the ring and nails Jerry with a chair. Ki crawls back into the ring as AJ heads up top.  Ki covers Lynn as AJ flies through the air with the Spiral Tap, but doesn’t knock Ki off, and Ki wins the title in 16:14.

This is an amazing spotfest with some innovative moves and awesome three-way spots, all of which were executed to perfection. If you are into off-the-charts spots, you need to find this match now. It’s truly a very underrated match. ****1/2 from me.

Eddie Guerrero vs. Shinjiro Otani- WCW Starrcade 1995

Dude, you should keep it going, if only for your own personal enjoyment. I don't get too many responses either, but I have fun watching/analyzing the matches.

Well I guess I could, but it helps if people vote. I'll continue, at least until I get no votes at all. At least I know people are reading.

Next vote decides the match.

The Match: Eddie Guerrero vs. Syxx © for the WCW U.S. Title

The Event: WCW/nWo Souled Out 1997

The Stipulations: Syxx’s United States Title will be on the line. This will be a ladder match.

Eddie attacks before the bell but gets nailed with a spinning heel kick. Syxx with a kick and some forearm shots. Eddie fights back with a european uppercut and a flying headscissors. He follows up with a nice tilt-a-whirl backbreaker. Syxx is on the outside now and Guerrero nails him with a plancha!

Back in, Eddie irish-whips Syxx into the corner, but a charge hits knee. Eddie fights back and tries for a frankensteiner off the ropes, but Syxx fights it off. Guerrero backflips to his feet however, but Syxx comes off the top with a spinning heel kick. Nice sequence of reversals there. Syxx pounds away on Eddie in the corner and follows with the bronco buster. I hate that move. Syxx tries a backdrop but Eddie flips out and dropkicks him out of the ring. Eddie tries suplexing his opponent back in but Syxx counters and suplexes Guerrero out of the ring and to the floor! Syxx then follows with a somersault plancha! Waltman used to be SO good. Syxx grabs the ladder and nails Eddie with it. He props the ladder up against the ropes on the apron but Eddie takes the ladder and catapults the edge of the ladder into Syxx’s face! This was pretty revolutionary for the time, because although Michaels and Ramon had done some of this stuff before them, there had been no Hardyz/Edge and Christian ladder revolution yet.

Eddie rams the ladder into Syxx’s back a few times and props it up in the corner. Eddie tries to whip Syxx into the ladder, but Syxx reverses, sending Eddie into the ladder! Syxx kicks the ladder onto Guerrero. He then rams Eddie’s knees onto the ladder. Syxx with a suplex and he starts climbing the ladder. Eddie starts climbing the other side of the ladder, but Syxx knocks him off. Syxx attempts to splash Eddie with the ladder but Eddie dropkicks the ladder into Syxx, who gets crotched on the top! Cool spot. Guerrero follows with a nice superplex. He climbs the ladder and tries for the belt. Syxx climbs the other side however, and they duke it out atop the ladder. Then in an awesome spot that hasn’t been used since to my knowledge, with both men on opposite sides of the ladder, Syxx dropkicks Eddie, causing both men to fall off the ladder! Sweetness.

Both men are slow to their feet, but as soon as they are both up, they start climbing opposites of the ladder again. Syxx again knocks Eddie off the ladder, but Eddie stumbles into the ropes, causing him to bounce back into the ladder and knock it over, sending Syxx crotch-first onto the top rope. Eddie climbs the ladder but Syxx grabs him by the leg. Guerrero retaliates with a european uppercut. They both climb the ladder again and both grab the belt at the same time. Eddie smacks Syxx in the face with the belt to break up the tug of war, and wins the match and the belt in 13:49.

Definitely one of Sean Waltman’s better matches. Eddie was awesome as usual, but Syxx stood out more in this match because of his crazy bumping. They worked around the ladder in this match, instead of using it for every single spot like some guys do. Nice spots, especially for the time, and the only match worth checking out on this otherwise horrible card. ***3/4.

The Match: Bret Hart vs. Mr. Perfect w/Coach for the WWF IC Title

The Event: WWF Summerslam 1991

The Stipulations: Perfect’s Intercontinental Title is on the line.

Bret locks in a headlock to start and takes down Mr. Perfect on a criss-cross sequence. Bret with a hiptoss and Perfect bails. Back in, Bret goes back to the headlock and gets a crucifix for a two count. Bret back to the headlock, and now a headlock takedown. Perfect grabs Bret by the hair, but Bret retaliates by going back to the headlock again. Perfect pulls Bret's hair again but Bret pulls Perfect's hair and reapplies the headlock. Perfect with a knee, but he misses a clothesline. Bret hits a crossbody but Perfect pushes him off, to the outside of the ring. Bret tackles Mr. Perfect and gives him a sunset flip back into the ring for a nearfall. Bret takes Perfect down with yet another headlock. Perfect fights out but Bret catches a kick and takes him down. Bret with a stomp. Perfect irish whips Bret into the corner and slams him but Bret kicks Perect in the face while Bret is on the mat, and Perfect flips to the mat to sell the effects.

Bret slams Perfect but Perfect responds by kicking Bret. Bret clotheslines Perfect out of the ring and Perfect starts to walk back to the entrance but Bret follows him, tears his tights and pulls him back into the ring. Perfect works over Bret in the corner. Perfect kicks Bret out of the ring and chops him at ringside. Perfect nails Bret, sending him off the apron and Perfect pushes the ropes, causing Bret to fly backwards into the barricade. Good bump.

Back in, Bret fights back and gets a rollup for a two count. Perfect retaliates and stomps Bret. Mr. Perfect rams Bret into the corner and chops him. Perfect whips Bret hard into the corner and covers for a close pin. Perfect with his trademark necksnap and a rollup for a nearfall. Perfect off the ropes, and Bret tries a back body drop, but Perfect kicks him. Mr. Perfect with a nice dropkick sending Bret out of the ring. They fight on the outside and on the top rope. Bret falls back into the ring but his leg gets caught in the ropes, and Perfect falls into the ring.

Perfect gets a nearfall using the ropes for leverage. Perfect with a slap to Bret and a snapmare, using the hair. Perfect now locks in a sleeper. Bret elbows out and tries a crucifix pin, but Perfect counters into a samon drop for a close 2 count. Perfect with a couple chops, and another hard whip to the corner on Bret, again resulting in a nearfall. Perfect hits the Perfectplex, and Bret kicks out! Bret fights back with two atomic drops and a headbutt. Bret gives Perfect a snapmare and Perfect slides groin-first into the ringpost.  Unique bump, haven’t seen it anywhere else. Bret gives Mr. Perfect a suplex and a small package, both for nearfalls. Bret with a russian legsweep for another nearfall and he follows with a backbreaker and of course the elbow from the middle rope to complete the 5 Moves of Doom~!

Perfect rolls up a distracted Bret for a nearfall but Bret pushs him out of the ring. Bret with an irish whip to Perfect into the ringpost. Back in the ring Bret kicks Perect in the leg and attempts the sharpshooter, but Coach gets on the apron to distract him. Bret nails Coach but Perfect kicks the middle rope to crotch Bret. Perfect with a lowblow and a legdrop to the groin. Perfect tries for another legdrop to the groin, but Bret catches his legs and turns him over into the sharpshooter, and Perfect taps out almost immediately, giving Bret the title in 18:05.

Great match, but not quite a classic. Perfect does have some really good bumps in this match, however, even though his back was really bad at this point. Bret’s moves look great as usual and there is good build to the match, but the work was not as great as you would expect from the two for some reason, possibly Hennig’s bad back. The match is still an excellent match, and one that every wrestling fan should see at least once. ****

The Match: Chris Benoit vs. Rob Van Dam for the WWE Intercontinental Title

The Event: WWE Summerslam 2002

The Stipulations: RVD’s Intercontinental Title is on the line.

RVD kicks Benoit in the leg early and hits some roundhouse kicks. Van Dam lands another roundhouse kick but Benoit counters yet another kick with a dragon screw legwhip. Benoit locks RVD in a chinlock. Benoit knocks Van Dam down and irish whips him into the corner. Benoit charges but RVD flips over him and hits a moonsault off the middle rope in the opposite corner for a nearfall. Van Dam with a spinning kick to Benoit. Van Dam misses another spinning kick and Benoit kills him with a release german.

Benoit works over Van Dam and rams him into the corner. Benoit with a short-arm clothesline and a backbreaker, both for nearfalls. Benoit with a snap suplex for yet another close fall. Benoit now with an armbar on Van Dam. RVD counters but Benoit responds with an elbow. RVD gets an inside cradle for a nearfall and a backslide for another nearfall. RVD gets a huge monkey flip on Benoit but Benoit gets up and kills him with a clothesline. He rams Rob into the corner and chops the hell out of him. Benoit with another whip to the corner, but the blind charge hits boot. Van Dam tries the split legged moonsault, but Benoit gets his knees up! Benoit up top, and he sails off with the diving headbutt, but RVD moves! RVD with a corkscrew legdrop and he heads up top, and flies off with the Five Star Frogsplash, but this time Benoit rolls out of the way! Benoit then gets RVD in the Crossface! Van Dam struggles and eventually gets to the ropes. Benoit pounds away in the corner. He whips RVD into the opposite corner but the blind charge AGAIN hits boot! You think he’d learn that the blind charge is completely retarded. Benoit catches RVD up top and pushes him off, sending Van Dam into the barricade at ringside.

Back in, RVD actually SELLS his arm, and Benoit twists his arm and RAMS him shoulder-first into the post. Benoit with a shoulderbreaker and an elbow. Stomps from Benoit, and a slap to RVD. Benoit with more vicious chops and a lariat for 2. Benoit with a cool surfboard variation, driving his knee into Van Dam’s back. RVD counters but Benoit turns him back around. Benoit with a sweet cross-arm choke to RVD. Van Dam tries to counter but Benoit nails him. RVD sweeps Benoit’s legs out and tries a cartwheel into a moonsault, but Benoit moves and locks him back in the Crossface! RVD eblows out, but almost loses the match as Benoit rolls him up for a nearfall. Benoit with a hammerlock, and he rams Van Dam shoulder-first into the post again. Benoit with a hammerlock into a northern lights suplex, and he rolls into a second hammerlock northern lights, and Benoit floats over, gets a couple of knees to Van Dam, and hits a third northern lights suplex on his arm. Benoit still has a hold of Van Dam's arm and goes right into the Crossface! That was fucking awesome. Van Dam almost gets to the ropes, but Benoit switches it up into a sicker looking version of the Crossface! RVD counters out and locks Benoit in the Crossface! Benoit quickly escapes his own move and dropkicks Van Dam.

Benoit with another whip to the corner, and he runs into an elbow. RVD with a second rope back kick for a nearfall. RVD hits his step over heel kick on Benoit. RVD hits rolling thunder and covers for a very close 2. RVD with a whip to the corner and he shoulderblocks Benoit. RVD spinkicks Benoit for a close 2 count. Benoit counters a monkey flip out of the corner and sits RVD on the top rope. Van Dam with some elbows to Benoit but Benoit crotches him on the top rope backwards. Benoit pounds away on RVD’s back and neck and tries for a top rope back superplex but Van Dam falls on top of him! RVD hits the Five Star Frogsplash! He covers and gets the win to retain his title in 16:23.

Great match. Benoit was his usual awesome self and RVD hung with him, not blowing any noticeable spots. Van Dam actually sold his arm and Benoit was always working over Van Dam for the Crossface. The only thing missing in this match is a decent pace. As with a lot of RVD matches, the pace was off and it was really noticeable. The finish also seemed out of nowhere and was a little disappointing, as RVD stopped selling the arm. This was still a great match, and probably one of RVD’s better efforts, not involving a ladder. ***3/4.
