Those damn movies about princes worry me. And did DAWN lose another 50% this weekend?
Mole Posted April 4, 2004 Report Posted April 4, 2004 The Girl Next Door is going to have to make some money. They've been running ads heavy for a month now. Yeah, and the Fox show Skin, which was showed ALL THE TIME got cancelled after a few shows.
Youth N Asia Posted April 4, 2004 Report Posted April 4, 2004 "THE D.A.'s SON AND THE PORNOHRAPHERS DAUGHTER!"
Guest TheZsaszHorsemen Posted April 4, 2004 Report Posted April 4, 2004 heh Hellboy>Scooby Doo>The Passion ....there's a message in there somewheres, I know it... Too bad neither of those movies will be as profityable as The Passion has been. Is there a message THERE?

People are afraid of making Jesus angry And audiences love a good snuff film, which is all "The Passion" was.
Ted the Poster Posted April 4, 2004 Report Posted April 4, 2004 "THE D.A.'s SON AND THE PORNOHRAPHERS DAUGHTER!" From that line alone, you can tell the show would be better suited as a TV movie. Note to Jerry Bruckheimer: Stick to the crime dramas Jer. Anyway, Hellboy was pretty good, and was almost a shoe-in for the top spot. Walking Tall was too short, but Neal McDonough was ON and is one of my favorite actors. Hopefully they will release the twenty or so minutes of deleted scenes on the DVD. *looks at rest of list* Motherfucker! The Ladykillers and Eternal Sunshine are two superb movies that deserved better than this, damn it! Oh, and did anybody else see a fucking stampede of females exit that Julia Stiles movie? Jesus, that was frightening.

I don't like The Passion nearly as much as most, but if you think all it was was snuff then you're just ignorant.
razazteca Posted April 4, 2004 Report Posted April 4, 2004 4 - Home on the Range - $14,000,000/$14,000,000 What is this and who is in it? I don't remember seeing any commercials for it at all.
jimmy no nose Posted April 4, 2004 Report Posted April 4, 2004 4 - Home on the Range - $14,000,000/$14,000,000 What is this and who is in it? I don't remember seeing any commercials for it at all. It's the new Disney movie, I don't have any idea who's in it, but it doesn't really matter in animated movies. All the kids see them.
EricMM Posted April 4, 2004 Report Posted April 4, 2004 Julia Styles appeals to me. Not that I've seen one of her movies in theatres, but... She's very cute.

I was told Roseanne was part of the cast. Up until a few days ago I had no idea this movie even existed...
2GOLD Posted April 5, 2004 Report Posted April 5, 2004 "Sunshine" lost theaters and only went down 33% Focus Film just really messed up with the release of this film.
MrRant Posted April 5, 2004 Report Posted April 5, 2004 Julia Styles appeals to me. Not that I've seen one of her movies in theatres, but... She's very cute. Her mug reminds me of a horse for some reason.
Karnage Posted April 5, 2004 Report Posted April 5, 2004 Hell, I'll be going to see it. Just for Elisha Cuthbert...man she's hot. If you grew up watching her on PMK and see what she's like now, it feels very weird.

Kahran Ramsus Posted April 5, 2004 Report Posted April 5, 2004 Julia Styles appeals to me. Not that I've seen one of her movies in theatres, but... She's very cute. The only Julia Styles movie I saw in theatres was the Bourne Identity.
MarvinisaLunatic Posted April 5, 2004 Report Posted April 5, 2004 It shouldn't be to hard to figure out what next weeks big movie will be..
Mole Posted April 5, 2004 Report Posted April 5, 2004 I don't know, I wouldn't be surprised if The Alamo doesn't make the money that Touchstone hopes.
Kahran Ramsus Posted April 5, 2004 Report Posted April 5, 2004 It shouldn't be to hard to figure out what next weeks big movie will be.. It should be Alamo under normal circumstances, but it has a lot of bad buzz (delaying it 4 months to make changes is a bad sign) and Disney is apparently really worried that it will flop, so I'm not quite sure now. How popular was The Whole Nine Yards?
Mole Posted April 5, 2004 Report Posted April 5, 2004 It shouldn't be to hard to figure out what next weeks big movie will be.. How popular was The Whole Nine Yards? Its budget was $24 million and it grossed $57 million.

I don't think any movie has done that, ever.
