Just John 0 Report post Posted April 9, 2004 Since the re-draft, not a single woman has been on Smackdown. I don't think too many smarks care about the absence of Torrie, Sable, Dawn, or Shaniqua, but it just seems odd that they would all disappear. Do any of you know what happened to any of them? RavishingRickRudo 0 Report post Posted April 9, 2004 Did you notice that Richard Clarke sounds a lot like Vince McMahon? Not just in tone, but in speech pattern as well. Really weird. Oh, and I don't watch smackdown. I tried tonight, but I figured I had more pressing matters to deal with... tying my shoe laces in knots and then trying to untie them, for example. JoeDirt 0 Report post Posted April 9, 2004 Yeah, but you've got Rico and Jackie on Velocity! And I wouldn't mind if Torrie and Dawn Marie got managerial jobs...mind as well use them doing _something_. Whatever happened to the Torrie/Billy Gunn relationship? What a slut. I tried tonight, but I figured I had more pressing matters to deal with... tying my shoe laces in knots and then trying to untie them, for example. I'm more of a watching paint dry type of person. You know what else is missing from Smackdown? A number one contender. No, no, I mean a real number one contender. And main event heels. Not too many of those. RavishingRickRudo 0 Report post Posted April 9, 2004 And compelling storylines and good wrestling. Don't forget about those... cause it seems the WWE has. New Era indeed.
CanadianChick 0 Report post Posted April 9, 2004 And compelling storylines and good wrestling. Don't forget about those... cause it seems the WWE has. New Era indeed. Well, they're trying for Raw at least. Of course, making Smackdown a second rate show doesn't really help anybody, does it?
RavishingRickRudo 0 Report post Posted April 9, 2004 Well, it helps me out lots - I can watch Survivor and CSI now without being tied down with Smackdown.

SuperJerk 0 Report post Posted April 9, 2004 ^I've not seen her since the Torrie/Sable Playboy announcement.^ You know what else is missing from Smackdown? A number one contender. No, no, I mean a real number one contender. And main event heels. Not too many of those. If you look at the roster on paper, there were still plenty of people they could've put Eddie against. True, he just had feuds with Cena and Show last year, but what about Booker T and RVD. With Booker having heat with both Eddie and RVD, a triple threat would make perfect sense. Its still a month until the next Smackdown PPV. Bradshaw could get his title shot and be done with it before the PPV airs, right?

Perhaps, but i'm really worried that they might put the title on Bradshaw. Don't say that WWE won't do it either, as their stupidity knows no bounds at the moment. I'll still watch Smackdown though, in hope that a Charlie Haas main event push will come....
Scroby 0 Report post Posted April 9, 2004 You also gotta realize that WWE is scambling for ideas for Smackdown since Angle is hurt and Lesnar left. Smackdown is going to be like this for awhlie till common sense comes a knocking. I was going to try to end this with hope that WWE will come up with something good sooner than later, but I just can't, oh well. And no IB the rosters shouldn't be put back together, so don't even bother saying it, lol.

geniusMoment 0 Report post Posted April 9, 2004 Get used to no women, with the FCC on a rampage WWE will not put women in sexual positions on network television. Linda said in one of her stock meeting calls a couple of weeks ago they were even changing the language on raw just in case the FCC goes after cable, which they will. One more thing, Fuck the FCC. Torrie Wilson kinda reminds me of Eva Peron. In case you didn't know, Eva basically slept her way to the top and eventually married the President of Argentina. 2GOLD 0 Report post Posted April 9, 2004 Except, in this case, she slept her way to the top and married the Argentian President's janitor. Right. If anyone is Eva, it's Triple H. As for the females on Smackdown, I don't think they are needed or have any clue what to do with them. They can't wrestle, they really aren't good at talking and only Jackie has shown any ability as being the sex object distraction type manager.

Torrie Wilson kinda reminds me of Eva Peron. In case you didn't know, Eva basically slept her way to the top and eventually married the President of Argentina. Torrie would never stick with one guy that long. Also, the Torrie/Gunn relationship climaxed with them ending up in bed with Noble and Nidia, then Gunn got injured, it was dropped, and Torrie went back into lipstick lesbo mode for the Playboy angle crap. Get used to no women, with the FCC on a rampage WWE will not put women in sexual positions on network television. Linda said in one of her stock meeting calls a couple of weeks ago they were even changing the language on raw just in case the FCC goes after cable, which they will. One more thing, Fuck the FCC. Bless the FCC. I thought it had more to do with Torrie being ratings death when she was a regular recurring character and Sable's relationship with Brock, but either way is fine. It's a shame that when they finally cut down on her the shows have to suck in every other way. As for the females on Smackdown, I don't think they are needed or have any clue what to do with them. They can't wrestle, they really aren't good at talking and only Jackie has shown any ability as being the sex object distraction type manager. I'd argue Dawn too, but Torrie and Sable pretty much fit that description. Sable couldn't make a living as a phone sex operator with that voice and utter lack of emotion. She's like a younger and slightly more vital Linda. Torrie is Kidman's female counterpart.

Zack Malibu 0 Report post Posted April 9, 2004 Undertaker should be the one feuding with Bradshaw, IMO. Not saying it'd be pretty, but it would be better than Bradshaw getting title matches. True, but at the the time RAW gave us necrophelia and SD! gave us the Smackdown Six. WE knew what the better show was. Now the Smackdown Six are what...Eddie, Bradshaw, Undertaker, Cena, Booker and RVD? Not many MOTY candidates in there.

Linda said in one of her stock meeting calls a couple of weeks ago they were even changing the language on raw just in case the FCC goes after cable, which they will. One more thing, Fuck the FCC. That actually makes sense because all the SD women ever did were bikini contests and "random liquid" matches. I haven't noticed any difference in the language, though. Everyone on Raw still says ass, damn, and hell (JR says them as much as anyone).
