Guest Anglesault Report post Posted April 14, 2004 This can't be real, if only for the Haas Rico match. UPN isn't CUTTING EDGE~! like Spike, and thus won't allow partial male nudity. The report has to be fake.
Lord of The Curry 0 Report post Posted April 14, 2004 IWC: These spoilers have to be fake! They would NEVER be this stupid. *Cue sound of Vince McMahon laughing manically* Angle + death = ratings.
Kardo 0 Report post Posted April 14, 2004 What troubles me, if if these are fake, I wouldn't put it past them doing most of this stuff.
Guest DeathBecomesYou Report post Posted April 14, 2004 They'll probably just have Angle show up next week like nothing happened, it's not like they haven't no-sold death before. How exactly do you no-sell death? It's not like Austin crushing HHH in his car or something, Angle is supposed to be throw off a building, that's not really something that's easy too explain. Although, when I think about it, Big Show was thrown off the top of a building in WCW and wrestled later that night, compared to that, Angle should be fine. I mean he's got a whole week to recover, right?

Actually, wouldn't it be Angle + death + necrophilia = ratings? I swear, it's like Russo era WCW all over again.
Guest I Got Banned for Sucking Report post Posted April 14, 2004 Who would go to all that trouble just to get the smark community buzzing? Unless there was a simple add-in or two... Which might just explain Rico making the show.

MarvinisaLunatic 0 Report post Posted April 14, 2004 Aside from the unexplained Dudleys have the tag belts, everything seems ok. On the Rico/Haas match, remember that its not live and the pants pulling down will probably be edited out/blurred.

Kardo 0 Report post Posted April 14, 2004 So was HHH. I remember that day I sent my friend an SMS, they've just killed HHH off in the WWF (since he was at school and I was at home). I could not believe they'd do anything that ridiculous. Well just look at them now... You know what gets me the most about the WWE. They could have almost any wrestler in the world to challenge Eddy. Build them up eaily etc... Yet they go with Bradshaw...
BoboBrazil 0 Report post Posted April 14, 2004 Angle has the 3 I's though plus he won a gold medal with a broken freakin neck, so I think he can survive some puny little fall of 30+ feet...

Its not like people haven't been "murdered" on WWE TV only to come back.. SEE: The OLM Zach Gowen (when Brock threw him down the stairs), Kane (flaming dumpster), HHH (when he was in the car and Austin dropped it), etc.
Cuban Linx 0 Report post Posted April 14, 2004 Shane McMahon seemed to murder Kane on a weekly basis. Murder = ratings.

This whole things gotta be fake, it just doesn't make sense at all. Since heel Kurt was killed by heel Big Show, does that make Show a face now? Or is Kurt now a babyface, even in death? Or is Kurt not really dead, but to capitalise on the "success" of Eugene, Kurt's going to be Smackdown's brain damaged wrestler?

Don't forget Kanes suicide ride into a production truck. Hulk Hogan being dragged by a motorcycle (Still gives me laughs) and Hogan murdering Rock with a Semi. But I didn't even notice the Angle stuff until you kept saying he's dead. Random Mark aka Me: Where's Ultimo! Anglesault: Angle just died bitch! Me: Oh.....WHERES ULTIMO!? Anglesault: A MAN DIED! Cherry Blossom Viscount 0 Report post Posted April 14, 2004 Okay, it's been rumored for weeks that Big Show would FINALLY be taking time off to heal after carrying the load as seemingly the only credible upper midcard heel on SD!, a well deserved break IMO. The angle was set up perfectly in the beginning of the show, lose and leave. However, now they have set up an angle where Show becomes a monster heel, ala Kane last year, surpassing even JBL and Booker (two heels who have been built up fo the past few weeks) and seemingly kills off another heel in Kurt Angle. Okay, so after all of this, he is going to leave? What I think is happening is that Big Show is being set up for the Undertaker. Show will be a huge heel for Taker to vanquish to give him some much needed momentum. I guess THEN Show will finally be allowed to heal up and take some time off. Art Sandusky 0 Report post Posted April 14, 2004 (fails to care about anything on Smackdown this week yet again) (laughs at Anglesault acting like this big injury angle will be any different or is more important than others) I tape Smackdown every week still, but what ends up happening is it getting taped over by Raw on Monday night before I even bother to watch it. Oddly, I'll re-watch Raw every week.

spiny norman 0 Report post Posted April 14, 2004 When I was about eleven years old and only watching WCW at the time, I fantasy booked a Nitro. If you subsitute Kurt Angle for Hulk Hogan, Big Show for The Giant, Rob Van Dam for Sting etc. I think they've copied almost exactly my show.
