This is officially the thread that will never die.

Damn straight and I'm bumping it back up. My current beef with ESPN is with their airing old World Series of Poker shows on ESPN Classic. It's not a sport and there is nothing "classic" about this shit. It's fine when they stick it on Cheap Seats to make fun of it but they now air this crap about three nights a week. All the archived footage they have and this is what the choose to show on a regular basis now.

This is nothing. They had two whole days of nothing but Classic Sportscenter on ESPN Classics a few weeks ago. That's far worse than Poker.

ESPN at first refusing to air the Randy Moss mooning celebration and not letting any of their shows show it was incredibly lame. Obviously they let up as I've seen it a ton now, but refusing to show a guy pretend to drop his pants, when they show worse during commercial breaks is a joke.

Oh and over the last week and weekend I heard the phrase on ESPN "There is NO such thing as a shut down corner anymore" a zillion billion times, and yet either Friday or Saturday night, I can't remember, someone was doing a playoff preview and mentioned how somebody was a shutdown corner.

Not showing that when they seemed to have the Pacers brawl on an endless loop for days revealed just how boundless their hypocrisy is.

Ha. That's a great point. I wasn't looking at the TV when Moss did his "moon" and I looked up right when he was "pulling his pants up." The way Buck was throwing a hissyfit I thought Moss actually did moon the crowd. Good God, I found the incident funny as hell...

My ears are going to bleed if I have to hear "Remedy" play in the background for god damn "TILT" again.

Poker is a not a sport.

They're showing a DRAMA SERIES about poker.

On the sports channel.

It's funny how they do a show about the World Series Of Poker (Norman Chad is shown in the commercials) and maek it seem like there's illegitimate stuff going on behind the scenes. Way to make your programming look respectable.

Oh and by the way,

Oh, I also hate it when Linda Cohn wears teenager black leather boots and stockings to appear young. She is quite fowl.

The problem with ESPN, Linda Cohn, a very plain looking woman who wants to be hot, and Suzy Kolber, a super hot girl who wants to be average looking.

Linda Cohn disgusts me for some reason. I think it's the teeth.

On Monday I was driving back home from Georgia to Kansas, nearly every local/regional sports talk host I heard was mocking ESPN and Joe Buck for their overreaction to the incident.

Hell, I happened to find Rush Limbaugh during the last half-hour of his show on Monday and he was getting on Berman and Buck for their "moral high-horse"

Besides the constant airing of the commercial, the thing that pissed me off about this is that, were you to watch the series, instead of allowing you to figure out what Madsen (who is a good actor IMO) is about and letting his character develop, they just tell you right away that "this guy is a scumbag and you should hate him."

It's like they took Subtlety 101 from Vince McMahon

If we want to hurt him in a cash game you have to get out of the kiddy pool and start making some moves!

I heard that bit. Funny as hell.

Damn, first getting a case of "Pimp Juice," now defending thugZ like Moss -- Rush must be getting soft.

Oh, yeah. I never saw Randy Moss as a disgusting act, ever ... ever...
