Mystery Eskimo Posted April 20, 2004 Report Posted April 20, 2004 I'm sure they'll come up with a craptacular gimmick for Cade soon enough. We've already had Mordecai, Lex Luger-lite, Eugene and now Hiroshima or whatever. They're on a roll.

Guest Goodear Posted April 20, 2004 Report Posted April 20, 2004 Why is Garrison Cade getting a push on Raw and why is Mark Jindrak getting a push on Smackdown? Why is that Brock Lesner guy getting a push? He's just a big hoss! Why is Kurt Angle wrestling that rookie John Cena? He's so boring! Why are they pushing Orton? He'll never get over! You do this with every young guy the WWE has ever pushed. Let me clear this up for you right now, PEOPLE GET BETTER. Sometimes they do and sometimes they don't but to just dismiss people based on their first few weeks of an actual push where they finally have a reason to be on television has proven to be less than successful for you. So maybe you ought to take a break from your talent evaluations or we'll be watching the same people forever.
Guest I Got Banned for Sucking Posted April 20, 2004 Report Posted April 20, 2004 I'm all for the Mark Jindrak and Garrison Cade pushes - they're not hosses. If they don't push new Superstars, then how the fuck is the company supposed to survive for the future...?
King Cucaracha Posted April 20, 2004 Report Posted April 20, 2004 I'm all for the Mark Jindrak and Garrison Cade pushes - they're not hosses. They're not?
humongous2002 Posted April 20, 2004 Report Posted April 20, 2004 Shit if Cade and Jindrak are the "future" then WWE is pretty much fucked.
justcoz Posted April 20, 2004 Report Posted April 20, 2004 His character is a retard, what kind of depth are you expecting? Is he going to become a schizophrenic retard? I understand your point, and it's valid: a worker needs some kind of personality/gimmick to get anywhere. I just don't see how Dinsmore's character could possibly go anywhere, beyond George Steel 2004. Did you ever watch I am Sam or Rainman? They were retards. Sam was a Beatles freak who could throw out Beatles facts. Rainman could do anything with numbers. They should play off of Dinsmore being such a wrestling freak by having him just randomly throw out wrestling facts and being competent in the ring, taking moves from wrestler's of the past, etc. I say even rip on the Internet community a bit and make your retard a smark. Have him rate matches with stars and the whole bit. The way they've introduced him is fine but if he's doing this same schtick totally in a year, it won't be over as much. They can also go the violent/schizophrenic route but I think the wrestling idiot savant would be more interesting. Oh, and please, at some point, let Eugene find the ATV and badge and become Raw's new sheriff!!!! Listen to the Pittsburgh music scene and more. New music this week from Pretty Girls Make Graves, The Stills, Rasputina, Metric, Mike Watt and Longwave
Guest Anglesault Posted April 21, 2004 Report Posted April 21, 2004 Why is Kurt Angle wrestling that rookie John Cena? He's so boring! He still is. And he had no business fighting Angle on that show. Anyway, I was right about SOH, Rodney Mack, Test, and Batista off the top of my head.
The Czech Republic Posted April 21, 2004 Report Posted April 21, 2004 Jindrak > Cade, IMO. Oh who gives a shit
Guest Hot Ticket Posted April 21, 2004 Report Posted April 21, 2004 Why is Kurt Angle wrestling that rookie John Cena? He's so boring! He still is. And he had no business fighting Angle on that show. Guest Anglesault Posted April 21, 2004 Report Posted April 21, 2004 Jindrak > Cade, IMO. How can you tell?
Guest I Got Banned for Sucking Posted April 21, 2004 Report Posted April 21, 2004 When they were teamed on Raw, Jindrak and Cade showed subtle heel tactics - they could do very well on their own.
Guest TheZsaszHorsemen Posted April 21, 2004 Report Posted April 21, 2004 Why is Kurt Angle wrestling that rookie John Cena? He's so boring! He still is. And he had no business fighting Angle on that show. Anyway, I was right about SOH, Rodney Mack, Test, and Batista off the top of my head. Actually since 'Mania, Angle has been far more boring than Cena.
Guest Anglesault Posted April 21, 2004 Report Posted April 21, 2004 Even Angle getting killed is better than "suck deese nuts"
Guest I Got Banned for Sucking Posted April 21, 2004 Report Posted April 21, 2004 "Then choke on deeeez (nuts)." Yeah, especially seeing as Angle's not really dead.
clean rob Posted April 21, 2004 Report Posted April 21, 2004 Yeah, especially seeing as Angle's not really dead. He's not? Source please.
Jericho2000Mark Posted April 23, 2004 Report Posted April 23, 2004 Remember that one Raw a few months back, where EVERYONE BUT Jindrak & Cade drew an audible crowd reaction? Shouldn't that tell you something... I see absolutely nothing resembling potential in these Dropkick-Crossbody Machines. They draw less heat than anybody, they can drag ANYONE to a boring shitfest(remember their match with Roseycane?), their arsenal is 95% Dropkicks and Crossbodies, and they lack any signs of charisma. The only thing they have going for them is the "WWE look". I see no reason why they should be rewarded with pushes, it's not like either of them showed promise when they were a team. How in the heck can the "Un" Creative Team find something for these OVW clones, yet have nothing for guys like A-Train, Mysterio and Rhyno? All of who are already over, and more marketable than ANY Dropkick-Crossbody machine. OT: I've been lurking on this board for a few months now, and it feels great to finally post here.

Guest I Got Banned for Sucking Posted April 25, 2004 Report Posted April 25, 2004 Hasn't Test got an injured neck right now?
Lil' Bitch Posted April 25, 2004 Report Posted April 25, 2004 How can you tell? Because they gave Jindrak a gimmick along with Theodore Long as his manager. That puts him miles above the new orange goblin Cade.
Guest I Got Banned for Sucking Posted April 25, 2004 Report Posted April 25, 2004 None of Long's previous WWE proteges had any wrestling ability, bar maybe Jazz (D'Lo?), so I'm pretty much talking about Rodney Mack and Mark Henry. I hope that Jindrak doesn't continue the trend, and it may seem a stupid thing to say considering that only two out of Long's four clients sucked, but the other two weren't exactly great either.
Guest Anglesault Posted April 25, 2004 Report Posted April 25, 2004 Why is Kurt Angle wrestling that rookie John Cena? He's so boring! He still is. And he had no business fighting Angle on that show. Anyway, I was right about SOH, Rodney Mack, Test, and Batista off the top of my head. your right.....we dont want someone who makes the WWE money fighting someone like Angle...its like putting Eddy with Bradshaw or Stone Cold with JJ We were talking about the Cena debut show, where, for no real reason, they felt the need to destroy all momentum Angle had from making Hogan tap out.
Guest I Got Banned for Sucking Posted April 25, 2004 Report Posted April 25, 2004 A little off-topic, when Cena debuted his rap gimmick at Armageddon '02, who felt like telling him to shove off?
Guest Anglesault Posted April 25, 2004 Report Posted April 25, 2004 I felt like telling him to shove off when he debuted it two months earlier.
CanadianChick Posted April 25, 2004 Report Posted April 25, 2004 But guys, anything, and I do mean anything, was better than "the Rookie" John Cena.
Guest I Got Banned for Sucking Posted April 25, 2004 Report Posted April 25, 2004 I felt like telling him to shove off when he debuted it two months earlier. iB feels like a jackass. Well, it's not as if I had SmackDown! then.
Guest Man Of 1,004 Modes Posted April 25, 2004 Report Posted April 25, 2004 Why is Kurt Angle wrestling that rookie John Cena? He's so boring! He still is. And he had no business fighting Angle on that show. Anyway, I was right about SOH, Rodney Mack, Test, and Batista off the top of my head. Batista I think can be good, as well as Rodney Mack. Sean O'Haire was decent until he exposed himself as being unable to cut a live promo, and of course, Test sucks. So 2 for 4 I guess.
Guest Anglesault Posted April 25, 2004 Report Posted April 25, 2004 You have no basis whatsoever for Mack, and Batista really hasn't done much to impress outside of dress.
Guest I Got Banned for Sucking Posted April 25, 2004 Report Posted April 25, 2004 Batista worked decently when Raw had the same main event every week (well, it kind of still does), and I don't have a problem with watching him. For a big guy, he's not a bad worker, to say the least.
Guest BillyTheStud Posted April 25, 2004 Report Posted April 25, 2004 I think Mark Jindrak with this new gimmick has alot of potential.
