Guest MikeSC Posted April 25, 2004 Report Posted April 25, 2004 I'll say Cena. His ringwork is still nothing. His finisher is a standing fireman's carry. His mic work has gotten more than mildly lame with his face turn. I see Cena being the new target of venom soon enough. -=Mike
Use Your Illusion Posted April 25, 2004 Report Posted April 25, 2004 I never hated Orton, so when he becomes the next super-mega star, I'll be here to say I told you so. And no one will care. UYI
Lil' Bitch Posted April 25, 2004 Report Posted April 25, 2004 Either Cade or Grenier. By the way, I've always been a Batista fan. Dave > Randy.
Guest DeathBecomesYou Posted April 25, 2004 Report Posted April 25, 2004 Cena by far, ever since he turned face he's been so boring to me. His promos are lame, his charcter stale and his matches are so predictable, every match ends with the same fucking sequence of moves, every single time. In just a few months, Cena has gone from being one of my fave parts of Smackdown, to now being someone who gives me time for a piss break.
tbondrage99 Posted April 25, 2004 Report Posted April 25, 2004 I can think of a few people Garrison Cade, John Heidenreich, or the super generic Orlando Jordan
DMann2003 Posted April 25, 2004 Report Posted April 25, 2004 I say we refocus all our energy towards Billy Gunn No one likes Billy Gunn

Scroby Posted April 25, 2004 Report Posted April 25, 2004 I think we'll be all gunning for that new tomko guy, since most of us got on his case as it was for that bad kick to Jericho's face on Monday.

Yeah, and the fact this can mean basically nothing for the Jericho/Christian angle, which has already been ruined and hasn't had a proper blow-off, and I want to get Jericho to the title picture as quickly as possible. And if Jericho is kept where he is right now feuding with his ex-best friend and girlfriend, followed by a feud with Test over who's "bitch" is better, I'm going to scream.

Guest I Got Banned for Sucking Posted April 25, 2004 Report Posted April 25, 2004 I really wish that Outback Jack and Nathan Jones hadn't given my country a bad name as far as professional wrestling goes...
Scroby Posted April 25, 2004 Report Posted April 25, 2004 That's like the Raw version of Nathan Jone's debut, but at least they could refilm that one.... But they didn't, it was the same on the West Coast through.
Use Your Illusion Posted April 25, 2004 Report Posted April 25, 2004 I really wish that Outback Jack and Nathan Jones hadn't given my country a bad name as far as professional wrestling goes... Isn't the general concensus was that tag team wrestling was invented in Australia? I'm about 90% sure it wasn't, but it was certainly made popular here. Kind of like us claiming Mel Gibson is ours, when really he isn't at all. UYI
Guest I Got Banned for Sucking Posted April 25, 2004 Report Posted April 25, 2004 I like Orton a lot as a person. I don't mind him as a wrestler, but he needs some work. And Mel Gibson is fucking ours.
humongous2002 Posted April 25, 2004 Report Posted April 25, 2004 Orton did a decent job in one match while Foley did the hardwork, if Orton continues to improve and still shows the same dedication he did for that match then i might jump into his bandwagon but as of now he's still not main event material in my eyes.

I can't see him as main event material either - his alignment with Evolution (that's mainly it) and style will prevent that. Yeah, Foley did most of the hard work because he was the one beating the shit through Orton, but who took the more bumps? Well, it was probably even, but Orton didn't mind getting his hands dirty, and I like that.
Mearl267 Posted April 25, 2004 Report Posted April 25, 2004 Well, I have narrowed it down to...two (kind of) 1.Garrison Cade 2.Anyone of the new batch of OVW...atleast one will be hated. There...and I already hate Cade, so he's about halfway there already.

Scroby Posted April 25, 2004 Report Posted April 25, 2004 And Mel Gibson is fucking ours. I take it you haven't seen the South Park that had Mel Gibson in it did you?

2GOLD Posted April 25, 2004 Report Posted April 25, 2004 And Mel Gibson is fucking ours. I take it you haven't seen the South Park that had Mel Gibson in it did you? You take correctly. Someone give me the gist of it. And something in South Park was taken seriously? Basically, the South Park episode had Mel Gibson as insane and wanting to be tortured. But hell, I knew that after his interview with Diana Sawyer. Man has went crazy. And I still dislike Lex Luger clone Orton but if Cena doesn't go back to being Cena and quit being this vanilla boring tossing bags of nuts at people loser he has become then he'll be joining my dislike list very soon.
Mearl267 Posted April 25, 2004 Report Posted April 25, 2004 Lex Luger clone Orton Uh...I don't see it. Explain?
Guest Adrian 3:16 Posted April 25, 2004 Report Posted April 25, 2004 I have liked Orton, and I don't see what he has in common with Lex Luger AT ALL. Now Jindrak, I can't stand. And although I'm a Cena fan, I have to say he's been getting dangerously boring as a face lately, and he doesn't do the FU as well he used to either. He used to go down to the mat with his opponent, now he just stands there.
humongous2002 Posted April 25, 2004 Report Posted April 25, 2004 Cena is next, he still sucks in the ring and his mic skills are getting weak.
Jericho2000Mark Posted April 27, 2004 Report Posted April 27, 2004 Cena is becoming too repetitive, too soon. At one point I saw him as a potential World Champion, but unless he does something to keep his act fresh, it will die out by the end of the year. For the love of God, John, put deez nutz DOWN! As for Orton, I still hate the guy and he is still underserving of his push. He took two good bumps and held his own in a good match(albeit a gimmicked one), and he deserves props for that...but he sure as hell hasn't paid his dues, and he isn't over or good enough to skip right past them, like he has. His heat HAS been improving, but it's too inconsistent to justify his push.
Guest I Got Banned for Sucking Posted April 27, 2004 Report Posted April 27, 2004 I have not see Jindrak lately but is'nt he better at the promos than Cade? He hasn't even had promo time yet. Neither has Cade. I doubt that Jindrak especially would be anything special.
Guest Jim Ross Posted April 27, 2004 Report Posted April 27, 2004 Im a bit out of touch here but is Matt Morgan still around? you know, the generic Hoss with Powerbomb type finisher #12. I'll vote for him if he becomes a mainstay on TV
