Guest Man Of 1,004 Modes Report post Posted May 1, 2004 Anyone know how old Sting is these days? While I'm at it, how about Luger? Sting is already pushing 40, if not passed. Luger I'd assume is a few years olde,r so I'll peg him between 40-45. So both are past it (in Lugers case, WAAAAY past it).
Use Your Illusion 0 Report post Posted May 1, 2004 I always thought Luger was younger than Sting.
Guest Man Of 1,004 Modes Report post Posted May 1, 2004 Luger was born in 1958 I found out, so he's 46. So he's odler than Sting is I think. Edit: Sting is only one year younger, at 45. DAMN! I thought he was younger. I guess since he's in good physical shape it's hard to notice.
Use Your Illusion 0 Report post Posted May 1, 2004 As well as us always seeing him with his face paint on kind of makes it difficult to make a judgement on his age based on his face. Thanks anyway.
Drury37 0 Report post Posted May 1, 2004 I am a huge Sting fan and a part of me is saying that I would like to see him in the WWE but I also would not want to see him in the WWE because that would destroy the entire "Franchise of WCW" thing. That is just my feelings on the whole Sting thing. I definitely don't want to see Luger back in the ring because he can't really work anymore and brings along too much controversy and a good amount negativity with him. Thanks. cynicalprofit 0 Report post Posted May 1, 2004 Luger needs to finish what Shawn Stasiak(sp) started, PLANET LUGER RUNNING WILD BABY! If he can't wrestle, wait he can't at all, he needs a character BIG time. A former delusional champ who is no longer in the shape he once was in, yet still thinks he is....sounds like hhh's future gimmick.
TheBigSwigg 0 Report post Posted May 1, 2004 It wouldn't really work well because I highly doubt Sting will want to adapt to the WWE style, seeing as he's a classic NWA/WCW worker. If they bring Luger back, though. Oh man, the shit will fly.
Anakin Flair 0 Report post Posted May 1, 2004 It looks like that Luger vs Hardcore Holly dream match could come to fruition Screw that. I want to see if Luger and Billy Gunn can both exist together side by side. I think that would be enogh to unravel the very fabric of space and time.

If he can't wrestle, wait he can't at all, he needs a character BIG time. A former delusional champ who is no longer in the shape he once was in, yet still thinks he is....sounds like hhh's future gimmick. That would be fun to see. As long as he's a jobber, I think that would be an appropriate gimmick if he got brought in. It wouldn't really work well because I highly doubt Sting will want to adapt to the WWE style, seeing as he's a classic NWA/WCW worker. If they bring Luger back, though. Oh man, the shit will fly. I don't see how the shit will fly too much. If he's kept as a jobber I doubt he will be a bastard backstage, and most of the superstars are fairly young guys who haven't worked with him before and just have heard stories. I doubt he can cause many problems if he's a jobber and they make him understand that before he's signed. If they don't want Lex to be in-ring, they can give him an office job that will make Sting happy but not cost them much or make their superstars angry. Guest Man Of 1,004 Modes Report post Posted May 1, 2004 Sting hasn't been in the "Jobber" range since 1987 when he was a heel lower-midcarder with the UWF guys. I doub the'll sign to be jobbing out to losers like Garrison Cade and Mark Jindrak.

Use Your Illusion 0 Report post Posted May 2, 2004 Luger bringing back a fully-fledged Narcissist gimmick would rock. At least until he had to 'wrestle'. UYI
reign 0 Report post Posted May 2, 2004 Luger bringing back a fully-fledged Narcissist gimmick would rock. At least until he had to 'wrestle'. UYI That would be cool but Luger was HUGE the last time I saw him in TNA so that might be out of the question...although if he did come back I would like to see him and Sting as a tag team for a while...that way it could add big name appeal to a floundering division and hide their weakness for a while...they could act very cocky like Luger did in TNA and if they got the tag gold it really couldn't hurt all that much.... Mearl267 0 Report post Posted May 2, 2004 Sting and Luger better stay the fuck away from the WWE. YOU ARE NOT WANTED. Besides, they belong in the B leagues, with there WCW pride.

Rob E Dangerously 0 Report post Posted May 2, 2004 Luger gimmick idea: Lex Luger needs money therefore, some heel gets him into the WWE, but makes Luger do stuff in order to get some more money. Like humilating things, or heelish deeds.
Use Your Illusion 0 Report post Posted May 2, 2004 Luger's a fatass now!?!? Anyone got any pictures of him? I don't think i could ever picture Luger that way.
Rob E Dangerously 0 Report post Posted May 2, 2004 As for my Luger idea.. it's a shame that the WWE couldn't get Ted Dibiase to be the guy who is manipulating Luger
Guest Trivia247 Report post Posted May 2, 2004 As for my Luger idea.. it's a shame that the WWE couldn't get Ted Dibiase to be the guy who is manipulating Luger im afraid Luger is too far gone to be turned back to the good lords work by the word of Sting.... he needs a triple threat Sting Shawn Michaels and Ted Dibiasi! they will perform the Worthless piece of shit exorcism
Rob E Dangerously 0 Report post Posted May 2, 2004 let's face it.. Luger can be "funded" by a heel, who uses Luger's services and holds him in some sort of blackmail. I'm sure there's all sorts of humiliating things that Luger could do

Guest Trivia247 Report post Posted May 2, 2004 For God's sake, Trivia, just stop posting. Nevah! In all honesty there isn't one decent reason anyone in their right mind would consider having Luger reenter the WWE. Even if Sting offers his services with him its still not worth it. Asides Sting should rest with the pride of knowing he is one of the few wrestlers of his age and stature that has NOT at any point in their career entered the WWF/WWE
MrRant 0 Report post Posted May 2, 2004 I think Sting could get to almost HBK levels if working only TV. He's always had good conditioning.
Use Your Illusion 0 Report post Posted May 2, 2004 It's never been an talent issue with Sting, just a motivational one. No-one can really blame Sting half-assing it in WCW with the environment that place spawned, however the WWE locker room these days isn't much better. UYI
Guest Man Of 1,004 Modes Report post Posted May 2, 2004 Sting still can go like I said and has good conditioning, but Luger forget about it. From his LONE TNA match, he looked like he bloated past 300 pounds, and he a bit of a beer belly, half assed it beyond belief, and no sold 20 baseball shots...FROM STING! His attitude sucks, so he strikes out twice.
