Guest cobainwasmurdered Posted May 7, 2004 Report Posted May 7, 2004 happy birthday you weird question asking weirdo
Slayer Posted May 7, 2004 Report Posted May 7, 2004 Thank you, thank you Joke response: I'll be having a party. Everyone will be invited... except you, more than likely. And Ripper, I expect you to be in full dress tonight. Those drinks aren't going to serve themselves. Serious response: I'll probably do the same thing I've done with every bday since 21, i.e. nothing... maybe eat a big dinner and enjoy some fine adult beverages.
Nighthawk Posted May 7, 2004 Report Posted May 7, 2004 I thought this was going to be something else... happy birthday(!).
Guest FrigidSoul Posted May 7, 2004 Report Posted May 7, 2004 That's the most blatant rip-off of Critters I've ever seen
Zack Malibu Posted May 7, 2004 Report Posted May 7, 2004 But it was parodied on MST3K, one of the funnier Sci-Fi eps ever, hence why I'm giving it to Angelslayer, him being a hardcore MSTie and all.
Guest FrigidSoul Posted May 7, 2004 Report Posted May 7, 2004 Thankfully you really can't give it to him. I say that because I'd be forced to watch it and make fun of it for others' amusement sooner or later.
Zack Malibu Posted May 7, 2004 Report Posted May 7, 2004 Funnily enough, I just was scrolling through the 100 Worst Movies according to IMDB, and this was on it at #10. It's out of print, and I don't think the MST3K ep with it is out on DVD yet. So luckily for his sanity, none of us can give it to him.
Guest FrigidSoul Posted May 7, 2004 Report Posted May 7, 2004 I can safely say the worst movie of all time resides in my household. My father thought it would be a good idea to pick this up when I was a child. This little critter use to haunt my dreams because of it
Nighthawk Posted May 7, 2004 Report Posted May 7, 2004 It's not out of print. Or even if it is, there's a fuck of a lot of dvds at Best Buy. By the way, their appearance is more Gremlins inspired than Critters. The movie was largely Critters though.
Zack Malibu Posted May 7, 2004 Report Posted May 7, 2004 Even BestBuy.com says there are no matches for "Hobgoblins". You sure it's the same movie. I'd also say "there should be a shitload of them there, because who would actually buy this movie"?
Nighthawk Posted May 7, 2004 Report Posted May 7, 2004 I'm positive. I'm very familiar with the movie, as I actually watched it several times before the MST3K version, and it's one of my favorite episodes of that. If this is true, I'd better go out and buy it right now. edit: I looked on Amazon and they're selling them there as well.
Slayer Posted May 7, 2004 Report Posted May 7, 2004 *puts up cardboard display and tape recorder of himself*
Sass Posted May 8, 2004 Report Posted May 8, 2004 Happy birthday to one of the folks who can somehow always get me to chuckle whenever I read their posts. Happy birthday Angelslayer.
Slayer Posted May 8, 2004 Report Posted May 8, 2004 As a self b-day gift (since I don't ask for gifts from family anymore at this age) I got the WMXX DVD Brockberg is the greatest thing ever I crank up the volume just to hear "YOU SOLD OUT!" reverb through my house
