Grant couldn't do action scenes and make them come off legit if his life depended on it. Farrell could do it but I just don't see it working. Ewan McGregor or Sean Bean get my vote. As for the suggestion of Eric Bana, I just couldn't watch it properly, I'd be laughing my head off. I don't know if his stuff as a sketch comic in Australia has been aired over there at all, but him as Bond just paints an hilarious picture in my head, he's such a goof. I couldn't get over him in Black Hawk Down as it was, he was doing the exact same voice he always used to spoof Sylvester Stallone. Gold. He really should get a comedy role in Hollywood. I don't really see Alexis Denisof as Bond because he's not well known enough and is better when playing a more dark and brooding character. Maybe a Bond Villain?
