sfaJack Posted May 13, 2004 Report Posted May 13, 2004 Inspired by the news that Deion Sanders has been fired, I thought this might be an interesting poll. Personally, I vote CBS, especially without Deion. Fox and ESPN are too full of their own shit.
Guest Smell the ratings!!! Posted May 13, 2004 Report Posted May 13, 2004 I voted ESPN, but I'm not gonna lie to you: they all suck.
Guest Salacious Crumb Posted May 13, 2004 Report Posted May 13, 2004 Where's the "They All Suck" option?
Mik Posted May 13, 2004 Report Posted May 13, 2004 I like the last option. Of course only pussies don't watch football.
LaParkaMarka Posted May 13, 2004 Report Posted May 13, 2004 As others have said, they all suck. Fox got my vote by default, since I can't stand the CBS and ESPN ones. I think pregame shows are kind of useless. I do my best to sleep in through them and just catch the games.
razazteca Posted May 13, 2004 Report Posted May 13, 2004 Tie between FOX and ESPN! Between the Jimmy Kimmel/Mad tv guy comedy and the craziness that is ESPN there is always something on to talk about. I never watched CBS pregame no matter who they had from Boomer, Joe Montana, Deion, whoever the show was never as entertaining as the other channels.
Vern Gagne Posted May 13, 2004 Report Posted May 13, 2004 I choose it's May. Reguardless of the Deion thread this poll is out of season.
nl5xsk1 Posted May 13, 2004 Report Posted May 13, 2004 I chose Fox, but just because it's the best of a bad lot ... ESPN is too busy trying to fellate itself, and CBS is like that kid in school that always tried so hard to be cool that it just became more obvious that he wasn't. And who cares that it's May? As someone that hates basketball & baseball with a passion, I need a second sport to think about besides hockey.
CanadianChris Posted May 13, 2004 Report Posted May 13, 2004 I chose ESPN. Fox is horrible (Terry Bradshaw is absolutely unlistentoable, and I can't stand James Brown), and CBS is boring as shit, especially without Deion.
kkktookmybabyaway Posted May 13, 2004 Report Posted May 13, 2004 Well, I will never watch ESPN's program again. I won't watch CBS now that Sanders is gone. I guess Fox wins by default, although last year I didn't really watch any of them after the "Rush" incident because I was busy doing other things...
Slayer Posted May 13, 2004 Report Posted May 13, 2004 They all suck ESPN = annoying (especially after the Rush incident) CBS = boring FOX = bad sketch comedy (Sunday Morning Live!)
Cuban Linx Posted May 13, 2004 Report Posted May 13, 2004 I guess ESPN by default being the only pregame show i get in Australia. I might get Fox too, but if i do i don't watch it.
Ripper Posted May 13, 2004 Report Posted May 13, 2004 This little kid came up to me the other day and said "Hey Mister, is it okay for black people to be on the panel of CBS's NFL pregame show?" I just didn't know what to tell him. *cries*
Gert T Posted May 13, 2004 Report Posted May 13, 2004 Deion is going to be fine, if he can survive a driving his car 60 feet off of a cliff, then he'll find another job!

ant_7000 Posted May 13, 2004 Report Posted May 13, 2004 FOX, hands down. Bradshaw is entertaining, Howie has a high football IQ, and James knows how dictate the show, especially when Bradshaw gets annoying. I actually like when Keyshawn Johnson was on there too, he's got job in the future.
TheOriginalOrangeGoblin Posted May 13, 2004 Report Posted May 13, 2004 Terry, Howie, JB and Jimmy(or whoever the 4th guys is since it changes) are the best, barnone.
KingPK Posted May 13, 2004 Report Posted May 13, 2004 I usually watch the first hour of ESPN's before switching to CBS at noon. The guys on FOX are just too annyoing and they do a bunch of crappy skits instead of analyzing the games. I would pick CBS as the best only because Tom Jackson is a moron (do the Pats still "hate their coach?") and Michael Irvin took his broadcasting tips from Stephen A. Smith (read: yelling at everyone).

Guest El Satanico Posted May 14, 2004 Report Posted May 14, 2004 Espn, but I usually don't get up until near game time, so it really doesn't matter. ESPN is my #1, but I flip between all three. However, fuck CBS now that Deion is gone. I'm not bothering with just Jim Nance, Boomer and Danny Boy. Don't insult Stephan A. Smith by comparing him to Irvin. Stephan A. Smith doesn't really yell, he just has that angry black man voice and seems angry even when he's calm.
MrRant Posted May 14, 2004 Report Posted May 14, 2004 I thought all black men where angry? Outside of the coked up ones I mean. *coughIrvincoughDeioncough*
Guest El Satanico Posted May 14, 2004 Report Posted May 14, 2004 Since when did coke calm people down...does Irvin or Deion seem calm to yooou. Well Deion seems more laid back than Irvin, but he's still wired. The only high Deion is on now is the word of GOD
