Not everyone likes shoot interviews but for those who do list your top 3.I don't know if this is the right forum for this or not.

1.j.j. dillon-this guy gives tons of knowledge on wrestling and gives great ideas on booking.

2.bobby heenan-I can listen to this guy anytime.he is one of few that doesn't appear to be full of himself.he said he was just happy to be a part of it.

3.jim cornette-an 8hr shoot that feels like 2.great stories.

The 8 hour Cornette shoot was filled with stories, Good stuff!

Cornette's is the greatest.

Raven and Christopher Daniels both have a great insight into the business, as does Disco Inferno.

Bret Hart's is good too. Jake Roberts' is disturbing on many levels. HBK talks crap. The Road Warriors are very no-hold-barred.

I've probably seen 40 or 50 of them, but these are the ones that stand out the most to me.

OK.

I haven't seen too many shoots myself (Bret's 2nd and HBK's) but I'd definately recommend the Ole Anderson / Jim Cornette Q&A sessions from Charlotte's Fan Fest back in January. They're both available on RF. I sat in the second row for both, right behind Sensational Sherri (IIRC I think she was only there for Cornette's).

Both men are very open to answer what is asked, trash talk everyone from Eric Bischoff to Jim Herd to Paul Heyman to the Briscos, and are as entertaining as they are informative. 4hrs total.

Ole was out to shill his book so he doesn't open up as much as he could have but it's about as close to a shoot as you can get.

Where can I find some of these shoots you guys are talking about? Would any be available online or are they only available as rare tapes?

We get Shoot interviews on The Wrestling Channel 427, over here in the UK.

We also get PPVs for free :headbang:

I would recommend the Sandman's interview with RF from March or 2001. He has some really hilarous stories and a surprisingly good insight into the business.

Also recommended are Bobby Heenan, RVD, and Kevin Sullivan.

Mikey's is mostly ECW of course.

-Talks about what a piece of crap Sonny Blaze was.

-He didn't get along with Paul Loria when he came back.

-He didn't know of his ppv match with Kidman till a couple days before the show.

-Said Steve Austin had no problem putting him over and liked working with him.

-A lot about Cactus Jack. And where Cactus would come up with ideas out of nowhere. One where ECW and the local KFC would do a promotion together with Extreme Crunchy Wings or something. "Imagine it, Mikey. Tommy Dreamer on tv stuffing his face with chciken." And the wings would give you $3 or so off your ticket. A really well thought out idea really. Said Cactus had tons of stuff like that.

-Got the job in ECW mainly cause after he set up the ring him and his buddies would just screw around in the ring taking bumps. Paul E saw it, gave him a match with Hughes, and the rest was history.

-Talks about shit days in WCW.

-Said Goldberg was alright, but only had one real encounter with him

Bah, gotta go...will post more later
