MarvinisaLunatic 0 Report post Posted May 19, 2004 CBS: Jason Alexander is Tony Kornheiser! CSI NY will go directly up against The Original Law and Order on Wednesdays John Goodman has a new sitcom?
starvenger 0 Report post Posted May 19, 2004 ...and The Amazing Race 6 will be on Saturdays. Not the best slot, but aside from The (non-celebrity) Mole, one of the best ongoing Reality series on TV.
Edwin MacPhisto 0 Report post Posted May 19, 2004 Fun note about Dark Shadows: the WB didn't actually extend the option on it. As of a couple days ago, it wasn't getting picked up for the fall after all. Might have changed, but I don't think so. Way to go, assjacks.
Guest Choken One Report post Posted May 20, 2004 Whatever happened to Mick Foley's TV show he agreed to do for CBS?
Guest Salacious Crumb Report post Posted May 20, 2004 The only thing on that list that even looks remotely interesting is Revelations and that'll probably be poorly done.
MarvinisaLunatic 0 Report post Posted May 21, 2004 The only thing on that list that even looks remotely interesting is Revelations and that'll probably be poorly done. Its also just a mini-series type thing, running it instead of reruns.
Guest NaturalBornThriller4:20 Report post Posted May 21, 2004 Bah! Fox has moved The O.C. to Thursday nights at 8:00, putting it against Joey and Survivor. Stupid, but I think The O.C. will hold it's own. I hear that Joey has gotten excellent early reviews, and Survivor (Which I never liked) still pulls in good ratings. I hear that Joey has gotten excellent early reviews, and Survivor (Which I never liked) still pulls in good ratings. 8pm Thursday has Joey/Will & Grace, Survivor, Extreme Makeover, The OC, and Smackdown. I'd think that Fox has a good shot for 3rd place...
A Happy Medium 0 Report post Posted May 22, 2004 How are the ratings for Scrubs? It would be nice to throw into Thursdays.

Another reason not to watch Smackdown, I guess.
Guest Dynamite Kido Report post Posted May 22, 2004 The only reality shows I've ever liked was "Murder in Small Town X" and "Fear," and that's because they weren't just some stupid fucking "HEY! WACKY SITUATIONS! HEY LOOK! THIS GUY IS VOTING AGAINST THAT OTHER GUY, AND HE DOESN'T KNOW IT! OH MY! THIS RICH GIRL IS GOING TO HAVE TO WORK NOW!" horseshit we get now. My friend Monica put it best: "I'm just expecting 'Who Wants To Be A Millionaire's Janitor For A Week' to come on Fox any day now." Ricochet doesn't look too bad. That 70's Show is still on? I'm surprised. I mean, the first season took place in 1977, right? Who would've thought that they'd squeeze 6 seasons out of a show that has a 3-year span (story-wise). Plus, the show's sucked ever since Eric and Donna broke up. That...and Hyde started caring for Jackie. Motherfucker, WHY?! Wow, I thought I was the only person on earth that actually liked that. Or at least admitted it.....

Zack Malibu 0 Report post Posted May 22, 2004 WHA?!?! Sonuvabitch. Now I gotta find a way to tape The OC AND Smackdown... ...yes, I still tape Smackdown. Wednesday was PERFECT for The OC.
Mole 0 Report post Posted May 22, 2004 WHA?!?! Sonuvabitch. Now I gotta find a way to tape The OC AND Smackdown... ...yes, I still tape Smackdown. Wednesday was PERFECT for The OC. Yeah it was a good night for it, but I see why FOX is putting it on Thursday nights. It was one of Foxs higher rated shows, behind American Idol and 24 I believe. That way they can get the Thursday audience.

The O.C. drew in the teen show/soap opera fans. You didn't lose many, if any, fans to The O.C. It's just THAT much better.
Ripper 0 Report post Posted May 25, 2004 Well, the Angel rating dropped some when the OC came back on air. And despite the fact that Angel owned the OC in every possible way, television history has shown us that you cannot compete with over articulate, over dramatic young adults with really good hair. You just can;t.
Placebo Effect 0 Report post Posted May 25, 2004 Isn't Boston Public coming back? Sadly, it's dead and buried. There was a news story mentioning that FOX may air a few of the unaired episodes during the summer, but I'm thinking that's bullshit.
