Guest Brian Posted May 22, 2004 Report Posted May 22, 2004 Proposition is simple. You have one meal left before execution. What is it? I need something good and filling. Something that remind me of my childhood. Something exceptionally delicious. Osso Bucco fits that standard. When I was twelve, it was the first dish I ever cooked with wine. The wonderful arome, the succulent veal falling off the bone, the sauce. Italian, my first love in cooking.
CanadianChick Posted May 22, 2004 Report Posted May 22, 2004 I'm not a hard gal to please, food wise. Gimme a medium rare steak, with my mom's special mashed potatoes, ceaser salad, with a strawberry milkshake (why the hell not?). For dessert, a Dairy Queen cake. All for me.
Art Sandusky Posted May 22, 2004 Report Posted May 22, 2004 If I really was going to go for sure, I'd see what human tasted like.
Guest Man Of 1,004 Modes Posted May 22, 2004 Report Posted May 22, 2004 A bottomless bag of popcorn. Maybe if I hold out enough I'll die from over-eating than dying from lethal injection or whatever.
Ced Posted May 22, 2004 Report Posted May 22, 2004 If they'd let me, an all you can eat seafood buffet or a large selection of alcoholic beverages. Stomach bursting goodness or alcohol poisoning to go out the way I'd want. But if I could have but a simple meal, screw it. Give me a Hungry Man's and a soda then strap me in. EDIT: 2,000th Post! *takes picture and frames it*
Mole Posted May 22, 2004 Report Posted May 22, 2004 Easy. Subway Melt; bacon, turkey, ham, honey mustard, american cheese, and lettace. Along with some Honey BBQ chips and a Nestea Ice Tea. And if they allow it, some Milano cookies.
bob_barron Posted May 22, 2004 Report Posted May 22, 2004 Some macaroni and cheese, a big prime rib and a box of milano cookies.
Lightning Flik Posted May 22, 2004 Report Posted May 22, 2004 I'd have pineapple glazed chicken, cabbage rolls, mashed potatoes with gravy, cream corn, and I suppose for desert a cheese cake. To drink, Pepsi. That would be my ideal final meal. And I'd have to eat all before I have to die.
spiny norman Posted May 22, 2004 Report Posted May 22, 2004 I'd probably want a roast lamb. Or rabbit stew, one of the nicest things I ever had, because my grandmother cooked it for me once. Unfortunately she died and I've never been able to have it since because nobody else can cook it (gosh darn it).
Guest SP-1 Posted May 22, 2004 Report Posted May 22, 2004 Hamburger Helper. Potates Stroganoff. A gigantic pot of it. Like, ginormous.
Guest cobainwasmurdered Posted May 22, 2004 Report Posted May 22, 2004 roast beef and yorkshire pudding.
Ted the Poster Posted May 22, 2004 Report Posted May 22, 2004 A cajun-spiced New York strip steak, fries, an onion flower, corn on the cob, a hot fudge sundae from Cracker Barrel and it's all downed with a Code Red. If I'm going to go, then I'm going happily.
LaParkaYourCar Posted May 22, 2004 Report Posted May 22, 2004 I'll go the cliche route and go with: Well Done Sirloin Steak, Mashed Potatoes w/cheese mixed in, baked beans, with some blueberry muffins, and a large glass of Pepsi.
Guest NaturalBornThriller4:20 Posted May 22, 2004 Report Posted May 22, 2004 A huge Bacon Burger (Complete with extra Ketchup, Mayo, and Pickles) from Cozy's, a huge order of Steak Fries, wash that down with a large Chocolate Shake, top it all off with a pack of Chips Ahoy. If not... My mom's Rice and Beans. Keep it simple.
Dr. Tyler; Captain America Posted May 22, 2004 Report Posted May 22, 2004 Depends if I did it or not. If I did it and deserved to be shot in the face, I'd probably go the pig route and ask for a plate of my mother's lasagna, with chicken alfredo on the side (haha) and, if my stomach can handle it (which it can't, considering I currently eat once every two days), stuffed peppers. For dessert, I'd have an oreo milkshake. For a drink, I'd probably have Sprite. But if I didn't do it, I'd probably not have much of an appetite at all, so maybe just a slice of banana cream pie or something.
Guest cobainwasmurdered Posted May 22, 2004 Report Posted May 22, 2004 ...delivered by your pizza girl? for sure dude.
Red Hot Thumbtack In The Eye Posted May 22, 2004 Report Posted May 22, 2004 Bowl of Life cereal and a large coke slurpee
Mearl267 Posted May 22, 2004 Report Posted May 22, 2004 A cheeseburger and fries...as simple as that.
Guest Agent of Oblivion Posted May 22, 2004 Report Posted May 22, 2004 I'd try to somehow build up a violent allergy to eggs, peanuts and shellfish, then get heaping helpings of all three for my last meal. That way the state doesn't get the satisfaction of killing me.
Lord of The Curry Posted May 22, 2004 Report Posted May 22, 2004 Well, I'm a vegetarian so I'd have to say.......... Grilled t-bone steak, mashed potatoes, sauteed mushrooms, broccoli w/ cheese sauce and apple pie for dessert. I may be a vegetarian but I'm not stupid. *Realizes he set himself up for jokes* *Waits*
Guest croweater Posted May 22, 2004 Report Posted May 22, 2004 "Lord of the Vegetarian Curry?" Surely if you're moraly against eating meat it'd be a bizzare way to go............... then again you're on death row and have probably killed someone so your morals are all fucked up anyway. and if you're a vegetarian because you don't like the taste of meat then it why would you have it for your last meal? if you're a vegetarian because it's much healthier then fair enough.
El Gigante Posted May 22, 2004 Report Posted May 22, 2004 Grilled chicken breast, mashed potatoes, and corn on the cob.
Guest Choken One Posted May 22, 2004 Report Posted May 22, 2004 My Mom's Pork Chops...Shrimp Scampi and Fried Chicken with side of Cesar Salad and Mashed Taters.
ArkhamGlobe Posted May 22, 2004 Report Posted May 22, 2004 I'd probably either go for a kind of chili lobster my mother made once for New Year's (I suck at descriptions), fried duck or some spaghetti carbonara. To drink I'd go with a nice bourgogne and some cognac.
