Guest pinnacleofallthingsmanly Posted June 1, 2004 Report Posted June 1, 2004 Source I heard this from my roommate and didn't really believe it at first. How come no one can stay retired EVER?
1234-5678 Posted June 1, 2004 Report Posted June 1, 2004 It's not like this guy has anything left to say. Rap about money? Check. Rap about fuckin? Check. Rap about how great I am? Check.
razazteca Posted June 1, 2004 Report Posted June 1, 2004 Rap about fucking Destiny's Child? Work in progress.
Guest The Winter Of My Discontent Posted June 1, 2004 Report Posted June 1, 2004 Source I heard this from my roommate and didn't really believe it at first. How come no one can stay retired EVER? Watch the 99 Problems video, sucka
Guest FrigidSoul Posted June 1, 2004 Report Posted June 1, 2004 Rap about how great I am? Check. I haven't heard of a track called "JAxlMorrison Livin' Large" yet you egotistical BASTARD~!
1234-5678 Posted June 1, 2004 Report Posted June 1, 2004 I thought the bootlegs were already on the streets SUCKA!
Guest pinnacleofallthingsmanly Posted June 1, 2004 Report Posted June 1, 2004 I would buy an album by Jay-Z rapping about how great Jaxl Morrison is.
Nevermortal Posted June 2, 2004 Report Posted June 2, 2004 He's got 99 problems, but retiring ain't one.
Lil' Bitch Posted June 2, 2004 Report Posted June 2, 2004 Damn, I thought he got shot or something when I first saw the thread title.
Guest NaturalBornThriller4:20 Posted June 2, 2004 Report Posted June 2, 2004 Funny, when he was asked about being shot at the end of the "99 Problems" video, he mentioned that it was the death of Jay-Z, but the birth of Shawn Carter.
Guest pinnacleofallthingsmanly Posted June 2, 2004 Report Posted June 2, 2004 That's fucking stupid. That's like Clark Kent saying Superman is dead, but Clark Kent is being born. Then you see him saving the world and fighting cime in his suit and tie. I wish every time Jay-Z does something stupid that Tupac sample from Ether plays that says, "fuck Jay-Z."
1234-5678 Posted June 2, 2004 Report Posted June 2, 2004 Pac's been turning in his grave ever since that lameass "Me and My Girlfriend" remake.
Ripper Posted June 2, 2004 Report Posted June 2, 2004 What am I missing from that link...i don't see anything about Jay-z
Edwin MacPhisto Posted June 2, 2004 Report Posted June 2, 2004 It's further into the site, but it's not even really sourced. I doubt this tremendously, though I guess Dre's beats from Detox need to end up somewhere.
Guest Dynamite Kido Posted June 3, 2004 Report Posted June 3, 2004 Pac's been turning in his grave ever since that lameass "Me and My Girlfriend" remake. Actually Pac was turning in his grave way before that......like when No Limit records got big.
The Electrifyer Posted June 3, 2004 Report Posted June 3, 2004 What am I missing from that link...i don't see anything about Jay-z Under the news section, it says: EXCLUSIVE: JIGGA NEXT LP ON THE MATH Dedicato | 30.05.2004 | 19:26 Remember where you hear it 1st? Aftermath Music - Jigga is doing his next record with the math as S. Carter. The information are true. Believe it or not. It's Aftermath Music baby. It's official! They wanted to surprise everyone! Aftermath - Ain't gonna be nuthin after that! Who can fuck with the math? Nobody!
Ripper Posted June 3, 2004 Report Posted June 3, 2004 "The information are true" pretty much shattered any credibility that they might have had with me.
Papacita Posted June 3, 2004 Report Posted June 3, 2004 It's been rumored for a while now that he would come back as S. Carter, but I don't think it's true. I know he shot the rumor down in at least one interview, plus the Roc is putting out a tribute to Jay-Z album soon, and for him to make a comeback like that would probably hurt the sales. Most I've heard him say was that he'd possibly be interested in doing another album in a year or so.
