Last night in Oberhausen, Eddie Guerrero apparently snapped when the fans derisively chanted at him from the start of his match against Bradshaw. He was obviously not over with them, and this led to him turning himself heel in the bout. He grabbed the mic and cut a promo saying “Germany sucks” and flipped the bird at the crowd. From the reports that I received from the show and backstage, he did so not in a “heel” manner but rather in an “it really got to him and ticked him off” sort of way. He was said to be noticeably irate by the reaction he got when he came backstage and I heard that management was very angry by the actions he took out in the ring, especially considering he is the brand’s champion. Many people in the company feel that with the banged-up state of his body and the recent bout of shock he had after his PPV match with JBL, Eddie is really dragging right now and is very tired as he pushes himself to go on because he is carrying the title. Some are wondering if the rigors of being the champion are wearing him down and seeing him snap in the ring yesterday came at a really bad time and ended the tour on a sour note for WWE. From what I heard, the talk was that he would be fined for his actions.

Oh God...

They really need to give Eddie a couple of weeks off, especially after that JD match.

Bradshaw, Eddie, what was the third incident?

I meant this was the third incident in a somewhat short period of time involving Eddie Guerrero losing control against fans at house shows.

Bradshaw does the Nazi salute...... and Eddie's the heel??

Someone tell Eddie it's a worked sport in a live environment...he should know by now that some fans are going to be dicks.

This is Eddie's third incident. The other two occurred in the US when he went after a guy for throwing a drink that just barely missed one of Eddie's kids (who were at the show). There was another incident not long after that.

Oh shit, he's going to drop the title. Here comes Rene Dupree!

Eddy should be reprimanded, but making him drop the title would be stupid.

Eddie flipped off a crowd at a house show in a foreign country and got into with a couple of dick heads who threw beer at him in the past at house shows.

That shouldn't affect his TV push.

Actually, that was the 2nd incident. The first was back when he and Chavo were still teaming. They were facing the Bashams on a house show and one of them slung Guerrero into the rail and a fan poured beer all over him. Guerrero hopped the rail and went after him as he ran off from security.

Eddy has a fucking temper problem...I was with him on the beer incident but this time eddy was just unprofessional.

For a guy who has worked for 15 years...he should know better.

That, couple with Herr Layfield's antics, might seriously hurt the WWE's business in the German market.

Honestly though, what has Eddie done that is so terrible? I agree that this time(unlike the others I might add) was unprofessional. That I will say and I agree with 100%. But Eddie honestly hasn't done anything that serious. Has he attacked anyone? NO. I understand he went after the guy that poured beer on him, but everyone here would probably agree that he should've had his ass kicked for doing it. But I would say this one is honestly making a mountain out of a molehill.

Now that they've basically killed Germany, they better be glad Hiroko Suzuki talked to Vince and got him to scrap the Hirohito gimmick or else Japan would be dead too.

Here's an idea. Let's jump all over Eddie for doing something none of us saw and are only hearing about second hand.

For all we know, he was having fun with it ala Rock after Summer Slam 02 went off the air and he cut a heel promo on the fans that were booing him all night long.

I know this may be unrelated, but since we're talking about German incidents, there has been a picture released of Bradshaw giving the Nazi salute. I posted it on the Bradshaw thread here.

Eddie needs to learn to control his anger. I love to see this guy wrestler, and I know he's been through a lot, but the last thing SD needs right now is it's champion going nuts.

That, and the #1 challenger acting like a nazi.

It might just be Eddy turning heel for the night. He is the veteran in the match, he can make that call. He probably came out and saw the majority of the crowd was not behind him so he took the heel role. I mean saying blank country sucks sounds like a basic generic heel insult.

this is nothing.

It's just like Edge turning heel on the crowd in England.

Big fucking deal.

Boy oh boy, the bias here. Sad sad sad sad sad. Looks like the pressure is getting to Eddie, but as long as he has his legion of blind cheerleaders, I'm sure he'll get through it. I can't wait for the day he kills somebody.

"Well gosh, the fans just made him so darned mad, there was nothing else he could do! Besides, he's a good wrestler, let's just have them punish Bradshaw instead. Didn't he make a Nazi salute in Germany a few years ago?"

The year is 2002- Raw sucks- they go on a European tour.....the plane ride from hell ensues.

The year is 2004- Smackdown sucks- European tour......Bradshaw turns Nazi and Eddie snaps

You don't see the Rock going beserk every time the fans cheer AGAINST him. In fact, Rock relishes it and will gladly make adjustments accordingly to be the heel in a match a la WrestleMania 18. You don't see the Rock snapping out of character to harshly berate the fans.

Rock>Eddie
