They can replace Hamilton, he wasn't even a fucking President.

He was too important in our early history...

besides, neither was Franklin... do you suggest dropping him too?

What's wrong with Jackson? Anyone that beats the shit out of someone that tries to shoot them fucking owns.

He was a bleeding heart liberal.

Actually, he was the President who's attitudes and policies towards Native Americans facilitated and allowed for the Trail of Tears, which was tantamount to genocide. Speaking as someone of Cherokee descent, trust me when I say that he's not the sort of guy that Democrats want to hold up as great party icon. He's something of an anti-Lincoln, if you want a point of reference.

I think he did more than facilitate it. He outright friggin' ignored the Supreme Court when they ruled against him.

Though I'd have a friend that would argue for Jackson b/c of the giant cheesewheel he had.

Worcester v. GA, right?

There are tons of guys who deserve the spot more than Jackson. Hell, put Thomas fucking Paine on there.....if anyone remembers what he looked like.

Now that we're on the subject of money, can anybody remember who's on every bill above $100? This has been bothering me for a while. (Isn't William McKinley on one of them?)

The bleeding heart part came from the Indians he killed.

Mind you I'm not complaining; who did those hippie Indians think they were. It's not like they owned the land or anything -- that's what deeds are for...

Thanks, Naibus. That's just what I was looking for. Funny that a Klan member (Wilson) was put on the $100,000 bill while George Washington got the $1 (of course, the $1 bill is the most commonly used, so I can understand).

James K. Polk should be on something.

this is like that scene from the "Simpsons":

paraphrased:

(*inside Rebublican headquarters*)

Burns: "So how goes our program to name everything after Ronald Reagan?"

Dracula: "Well, three libraries are now Ronald Reagans...we've had the Mississippi River renamed the "Mississippi Reagan"...and my friend Frankenstein here has changed his name to Franken-Reagan."

This makes me even happier to be a citizen of this country that we call Reagan.

Yes he should. The territory that is know Texas, and California came into US hands during his term. He also promised to serve only 1 term in office and he did.
