The Czech Republic Posted June 21, 2004 Report Posted June 21, 2004 I had to go with a null vote since both have wasted so many hours of my life.
Guest Man Of 1,004 Modes Posted June 21, 2004 Report Posted June 21, 2004 Tetris. Once I got to level 117 on SNES and smashed my controller against ther wall when I lost.
jimmy no nose Posted June 21, 2004 Report Posted June 21, 2004 I'll go with Tetris just because it was the first game I really got into. I used to play it near 6 hours in a row at times. So much of my life got put into that game.
Guest Fook Posted June 21, 2004 Report Posted June 21, 2004 Dr. Mario. I could go on forever in that game. With Tetris I'd get bored and/or annoyed with it after a few levels.
AndrewTS Posted June 21, 2004 Report Posted June 21, 2004 Dr. Mario. I like the gameplay more than the constant dropping blocks, plus the music isn't as annoying. Anyone here have the Tetris/Dr. Mario SNES cart? I did for a while, but sold it, because Wario Ware has its own version of Dr. Mario and I get fed up with Tetris.
Guest Man Of 1,004 Modes Posted June 21, 2004 Report Posted June 21, 2004 I think thats the cartridge I played Tetris with.
the max Posted June 21, 2004 Report Posted June 21, 2004 Tetris. I never got into Dr. Mario, but I had Tetris for my Gameboy back in the day.
Guest Coffey Posted June 21, 2004 Report Posted June 21, 2004 I don't like either one. It just doesn't seem satisfying.
The Metal Maniac Posted June 21, 2004 Report Posted June 21, 2004 Tetris. I don't like Dr. Mario, mostly because one day, many ages ago, somoene showed my mother how to play it. A few weeks later, when I got my Nintendo back...seriously, my mom got all her friends playing the thing too, and you could wake up late at night (or early in the morning) and hear her pressing the buttons...she didn't like the sound of the game, you see, so she muted the TV. I have found though, that Tetris can be fun, especially when you're baked out of it playing 2-player games and praying to god that red brick drops soon so you can tetris the shit outta the poor bastard you're playing against.
Guest Smell the ratings!!! Posted June 21, 2004 Report Posted June 21, 2004 i'd say Tetris wins on music
Guest Man Of 1,004 Modes Posted June 21, 2004 Report Posted June 21, 2004 i'd say Tetris wins on music That just clicked the "Click here to Download Tetris" URL. Now I'll have the music in my head all night.
starvenger Posted June 22, 2004 Report Posted June 22, 2004 I've wasted so many hours playing Tetris it's not funny. Head-to-head on the GameBoy was my favourite version...
razazteca Posted June 22, 2004 Report Posted June 22, 2004 Puzzle bobble Super Puzzle Fighter Turbo II I prefer Tetris 3 over almost any puzzle game out today. It has 4 modes: Magicaliss, Sparkliss, Familiss and classic.
chaosrage Posted June 22, 2004 Report Posted June 22, 2004 Tetris Only because it's impossible to beat. Dr Mario is better. It's also 2 players.
Star Ocean 3 Posted June 23, 2004 Report Posted June 23, 2004 Tetris Attack is the greatest puzzle game ever.
caboose Posted June 23, 2004 Report Posted June 23, 2004 Tetris. I've lost months to that game in single sittings. Well not literally, but I might as well of.
Guest Agent of Oblivion Posted June 23, 2004 Report Posted June 23, 2004 Columns. I had a sega as a kid.
nogoodnick Posted June 23, 2004 Report Posted June 23, 2004 I love them both but had to go with Tetris. Whatsup with these new games like Tetris Worlds for X Box? Its cool that theyre trying to make them for new systems but these games suck. I just want a game with regular boring ass Tetris and nothing else.

Your mom, too? My mom would stay up until around 1 or 2 in the morning, playing it on the NES that was in my room. She would do it on school nights, even. I finally had to hide the controllers to break her addiction. I'm just lucky she never knew how to connect it, or I know it would have disappered out of my room.
